Barbatos Lupus Rex has such a cool moveset. They improvise a bit. They even have Lupus Rex make use of the sub arms.

As a barbatos main I can say this is easily the best unit out of the 3, but u do need to be experienced with 3000 and melee suits to do well with him, hopefully they add in the kimaris vidar too

I've been playing Lupus Rex since EXVS2 and what I like about him best is that you can quickly chase enemies

CSb Tail is actually a good anti-melee countermeasure as I've found and I've also got into one of the longest rainbow clashes with this suit that I've ever had
I just scoot back and use either rail gun or arm cannon cuz for me the tail misses a lot in close range
Really like seeing your thought process not just in technique applications but your strategy in real time. (Stuff like the risk/reward choice of pushing for enemy overcost penalty vs. helping teammate, etc.)

This thing seems broken AF. I say this out of frustration because I can almost guarantee a lost match. I’m trying to get better, but damn is it frustrating sometimes. On a side note, can someone confirm they get kicked out of matches automatically after a match, win or lose? That has been happening to me quite often, regardless if I win a match or lose one. It’s getting really frustrating to have no explanation for it. Either that or a Host will kick me out.

You get kicked most of the times if you play a broken gundam like Bael, or your connection is yellow and below.
Chances are it's connection. Suit choice probably won't really matter unless the host is salty af.
I'll be honest. Even though Lupus Rex's burst attack is long, if the targets partner is occupied with your partner then it becomes a great distracter
Can’t figure out the axe throw ammo and that 100 seconds tail? how to use those two weapon slots?
Guido Mista i kinda wish Gusion Rebake FC Assist and Axe Throw were 2 in 1. Axe throw reminds me of IJ/Destiny/Vanilla Banshee sword/Boomerang throw.
100 count tail (more like 10 seconds) is Charge Melee. By releasing B (melee) button it will release the tail.
Axe Throw is BC (special melee) then A at any time during the rush action.
How do you get rex? I can't play him and can't play online games, so I don't know what to do

How are you moving that fast it's incredibly impressive
The Allelujah Vienna system plus it looks like he makes full use of his canceling out of that lunging attack to gain momentum, dash and then hop for maximum ground coverage.
He seems to have played this for years to get this level of consistency with the movement because as a casual GVS player I couldn't even scratch the surface of that without a lot of practice and that was with the dash canceling of GVS PS4.

Not surprised at the Beast being strong high tier. It's always fun to play a suit that allows you to go ham at melee. Also Montero seems to be a really good 2K, interesting....
Learning csA BC dash is gonna be awkward.
The only success I had with this unit is playing backline like 2k barby. Im so afraid to go in cuz I normally get blasted. Though bding good at melee comes with experience. Just gotta keep at it.

Is Rex that strong? I might have just been lucky, but I haven't encountered any Rex's in rank that gave me trouble. On the other hand, I still get wrecked by a Lupus quite often.
Nah rex is easy to fight but gundam bael is pretty hard to fight well this game is pretty balance

On your flash drive put your music into a folder named MBONMUSIC and there ya go.
Why didn’t you use the csb at all?
It takes away your mobility since Freefalls on Rex relies on the Csa tail which is unavailable during csb

today i try to do a 1 on 1 pvp online match with my friend (me and a cpu in team A then him and a cpu in team b), but the match just wont start. Is that mean this time it HAS to gather 4 players in player match in order to start? Coz i remember full boost can do that.

to be fair, this game is all about 2v2 and 1v1 is not a real game mode
@@MinatoVersus but in offline and even arcade, you are allow to partner with cpu to vs another person who also partner with a cpu. It feels really dumb they wont even allow this in "Player Match room" Not to mention we were supposed to be able to do that in full boost and now they just downgrade it to not able to.

If you want the video closely, you will see that I use CSa after the bc dash or some of the melee and use melee momentum to push me forward then csa. Try watch the video agai.

is he really get toned down from EXVS2? i do think that his csA and his csA cancel is still way to strong for mbon. we rarely have that kind of mobility. i mean Bael and Epyon is fast, but they can't really play range game. I do feel that LR is probably at the same tier with Reborn
you can compared this gameplay to my EXVS2 rex and you will see sub and ac is way faster there

He's been adjust to match with mbon so he's noticeably weaker

デミ / Demi my setup is triangle for a, r1 for b, r2 for c, L1 to swap target, L2 for communication. it works well once you’re used to it

Well while you're holding CsA you can press sub which is a+b but since you're holding a you'll only be technically pressing b so if you have default controls If you're charging you can melee with r1

320+ dmg for a regular Mace to sword combo loop without burst is just insane. Imagine if there's no dmg cap, it would have been more than 400+ dmg on F-Burst ending with Burst attack.
How you can predict the raw super is coming?
Excelia was in burst, her team was low on HP, Barbatos had a lock indicator coming from Excelia from across the whole map. Since Barbatos was at full HP, it makes sense that Excelia would try to go for raw super and even out the match given the game state.

The online for this game is either already dead or broken. Cant find player lobby's anywhere and ranked match doesnt want to work half the time, either with cant find a match or finding one only to sit at a green planet spinning with no music for about 2 minutes before the match gets cancelled. Wtf
It could be because a lot of people can't afford to buy it yet. I've seen a couple comments people saying they still play Full Boost because of said reason. I noticed that so many people played the Open Access because it was free and during the weekend of course. So now to pay $60 to play the game, as much as they want to play they can't afford to. Until then, I just hope they are passing by with what they do have.
As for me, I've played a good amount of hold ranked matches. Casual...one match. Player search many! So yeah I'd say just give it time 😄 let's play sometime
