Ragnarr1313 (The creator of the flamethrower rifle) takes models he finds online, throws them in fallout, doesn't bother with attachments, and doesn't even bother making sure the animations work, doesn't even bother making any parts move. He "likes them that way".
There are enough people out there who do like them, so I mean, if you don't like my mods, you don't have to use them. . . At least I make stuff and contribute to the game, unlike a lot of people out there who make nothing and just complain about free mods. . .
@@RagnarrBjorn how much do you charge to make mods? I got a few I need made, willing to pay within reason of course. I got some melee, armor, and workshop mods I need. Needs to be ported to xb1 as well tho. Hml bro I’m dead serious.
@@jak356I don't take commissions for mods, I just release some simple ports and everything that I release are royalty free models, and making any kind of money off them is against Sketchfabs terms of use policy. I also don't own an XBox, so I don't port stuff to it. Sorry. There are other people out there who take commissions though, so I am sure you might be able to find one that would be willing to make you some stuff for XBox.
I'm actually one of the sickos who opted to rebalance flame throwers(and Molotovs/shiskebab) to not be ass and make fire threatening. What i find odd is how many pistol mods there are when you can just mod the plasma platform to be a pistol flame thrower.
For the M2 flamethrower I believe the reload is actually Repressurization of the nozzle so basically you're waiting a second or two to build up the pressure again otherwise you have the Fallout 4 flamer (considering there's a pressure gauge on one of the uniques I think this is what was intended)

@@PancuroniumB Hope you like them. The lag on the menus is pretty bad, but it's just how slow it is with that volume of data. I figured it's better to have them in an obviously accessible place than to hide them away in a config file you'd have to change manually. Most people likely wouldn't change them anyway.
The Zap Gun mod combined with Immersive Burning Molotovs and Flamers makes flame throwers respectable, if not godly. I'm also using a mod to rebalance damage to the bullet caliber rather than the firearm, so that may be a factor as well, but I think even without a rebalance the burning fire mod was crazy good. The downsides are: 1, Zap Guns are too common, to the point that they feel like the most common Raider drop. 2, any enemy with a flamer or the Zap gun flamer variant will instantaneously vaporize you from half a block away. You can use stimpaks, but your health just stops moving at ~10% until the stimpak wears off and you resume burning to death. 3, not really a downside, but enemies flee in terror of fire. Not sure if this is a natural behavior, part of these mods, or some other extra feature of an unrelated mod, but enemies won't stand around and let you melt them. They will flee for cover or just piss off entirely, which is at times amusing and other times annoying when that Bloatfly is a mile away but the game refuses to take you off of caution. These 2 mods make fire feel great.
For some reason the pip boy looking screen on the M2 Flamethrower found in vault 81 shows up as purple for me. Am I supposed to be using the pip pad mod or something like that?
man i wish the vault tex cleaner didn’t have the terminal display. looks like an awesome fun unique version but the terminal display is very distracting
Quick question, do you use HD overhauls/lod mods? I would love an guid. Your way of explanation is just so clear and this can be a quite dawnting toppic.
I don't, but enough people have asked about it to make me consider making a guide on LOD generation. I want to take the time to get it right though and not release a video full of bad information.

@pancuronium I really like m2 and appreciate your great recommendations but I've had an error where hand is incorrectly placed off the foregrip and I can't get it to stop.
@Pancuronium its with a heavy heart I Uninstall the mk2 flamethrower redux. The animations and sounds are amazing. (The trigger pull looks nice and is satisfying) But I find it is simply not balanced. I melt enemies to fast and enemy pyros instakill me even in power armor. I'm sure if I had a mod that added fire resistance it would be fine but those on the Xbox are outdated, broken, or don't give proper resistances. Thanks anyway for this helpful video and all your lovely videos. I am enjoying the wasteland flamer and the heavy flamer despite the fact thier animations are less satisfying
