Also check out the Russ & Daughters Cafe just around the corner from the main store. You can sit down at a table and get some cocktails. Waiting on that Sunnyside video! :)
Laura Spear Hey i also was planning to come in two weeks, are you concerned about the coronavirus ... i have never been to new york, and people around me are two historical to talk to, need some advice?
@@jeahlashelifestyle6816 hi, as long as you have the necessary hand sanitizer ect you will be fine, where are you travelling from? I had to check with my travel insurance provider to make sure that I am covered for extra expenses if they close London. But apart from that have a brilliant time. X
To prepare my next trip, I made a google map of NYC with all the restaurants, stores, parks, museums... that I chose. My map is empty in this area, Lower East Side. Curious to watch your video, as always.
Really well curated video and lots of info to go through to condense it down to 10 places! Really appreciate how well put together this was! So glad you’re using the Internet to inform others! Live this channel!
Another great video John, filled with great information. I lived on LES for a time and didn’t know about most of this stuff. But I will be taking dates there and pawning all this info as my own. Thanks!
Russ and Daughters is awesome, it always surprises me when I see trees in that area of New York, the greenery shocks when you're in midtown usually most of the day.
Thank you for all your videos! My friend & I are coming back to NYC this summer (our 3rd trip to NYC). We LOVE your videos to get great ideas for things to see/do since regular googling of "Things to do in NYC" just doesn't cut it!
Used to live off Christie street a block off Houston behind the Whole Foods right there. I liked the area. I was walking distance from Chinatown where I got my dumplings from vanessas, walking distance from little Italy where I had to get farraras bakery almost every day, the crepery, mr purple rooftop bar, and Emilio ballatos (best Italian I ever had). Can’t forget Russ and daughters too...Nice little area Cept for mid October of 2018 a dude got slashed in the face in broad daylight in front my apt.
Hey Jon. We're going to visit new York for the first time this April. Thank you so much for all the videos that you made. It's a big help. Keep it up. God bless bro. Cheers!!😊
Yes! One of my favorite local neighborhoods as well! LES, Greenwich Village, and Chelsea all the way (I don't care how gentrified ppl may think it is!). The video and cinematic quality of your videos are looking really good btw John. Keep it up :)
this is a great review. Most places I never heard about, and I always stays in LES when I’m in NYC. I like the calmness of the presentation, better than those hyped talk to much guys..
Love your videos man, we took so much advice from you on our visit in December. As hard as it is to see new York now that we're home I love to watch your vids still. Thank you bro!
Actually checked out Scarrs yesterday from a different video you posted and then walked to Donut Plant. Lifelong New Yorker but your videos have been gold mines. Thanks for doing what you do
LES is a great neighborhood. CW Pencil Enterprise is a fun little shop. Was happy to get up to Gallerie Perotin for the JR exhibition a few years ago. And it's free!
Hell yeah, my boy barr coming through with the *BANGA* 🤣 not even british but like how they say it. Good job covering all the Boroughs throughout. Can't wait to go in April and take full advantage of these tips
Finally we are there! After à first visit to NYC 3 years ago, we are back. In fact we are spending 2 dans, and another more in 3 weeks, after à big tour in the West. I décided to follow Jon's tips and footsteps. I should say "try to", because it is quitte difficult to do With 2 teenagers and 2 seniors. So today (today is not over, we started at 9 am and we are having some rest before going out tonight, Maybe to time square). We went to tenement museum, candy store, pier 35, a1 records (music lovers), and had a pizza slice on essex market line. Everything Was perfect, even if it was veryyyyy hot. This is why we are resting now. One little negative comment though. Tenement museum allows only one visit of an apartment AT A TIME, and its quite expensive (7 People, 30$ each, for only one apartment). Disapointing. Aside from this, I give Jon huge Bravo. Tomorrow, I ll keep on following histoire advices in lower manhattan, and next week in Vegas. Thank you Again for this amazing and fun work. Alexandre from France.
You should try Russ and sons the sister restaurant to Russ and daughters. A lot of their meats come from the daughters shop. Don’t forget Katz deli is literally right across the street from Russ and daughters.

I was wondering, if you shot the "air footage" (like at 00:01 and 00:32). Is it done with a drone?
