On behalf of my God, I would like to apologize for this sort of behavior. My God hates nobody! He loves everyone! He may not like some of the things you do because it's sin, and since separates you from him. But I promise you he loves you no matter what! I have served and followed God for 10 years now. If He can manage to love the hateful girl I used to be before I knew Him, He can surely love anyone! If you have experienced this type of hatred, I apologize from the bottom of my heart! None of these chapters refer to any remotely gay references. You're misrepresenting scripture in order to fulfil a biased agenda by quoting them the way you are attempting to. I don't know where you've got them from, probably some website. But look up the scriptures and read them in CONTEXT.

The arrogance of these and all other people that believe that only their interpretation of the Bible is correct, is mind-blowing. All religious texts can be interpreted any way someone wants them to be. If you want to find hate and judgement, you'll find it. If you want to find love and acceptance, you'll find that also. These horrible hate-filled people are just sad. I don't understand why anyone would want to believe that their God is mean, spiteful, and hateful. Is that really a fulfilling existence? If they are in such a hurry to be in their Heaven then why don't they off themselves? I'm sure they could find a piece of scripture to twist around to say that would be ok. Such a waste to have no love, understanding, and empathy in their lives. Not even for their own families. Oh well it's their choice. I just wish they would keep their pathetically negative lives to themselves and not pollute the rest of the world with their hate. Peace.
I'm not Christian myself, but I prefer the united Canadian church's perspective, where they interpret that, the bible isn't the word of god, but the words of people who were inspired by god, and as such, a lot of aspects of the bible are irrelevant, because it was written for a time and culture that's no longer relevant. Makes things a lot less zealot-y.
Both of these comments explain exactly how I have always felt about these situations. Many people have explained how they're following the word of The Lord when God didn't physically write one word of the Bible. And as you said, people look at and follow what they want. Leviticus 19:27-28 talks about how you should not cut your hair, trim your beard, or mark your body (tattoo), but who follows those words? If anybody tells me that since I'm Christian that I should follow every word in the Bible, I'm going to ask them if they've ever gotten a hair cut and assuming they say yes ask them why they broke their following of the "word if The Lord". So why do people ignore Leviticus saying that God spoke about not allowing hair cuts but focus greatly on LGBTQ+ discrimination? And why would God put anybody on the earth if they're meant for destruction of His beautiful creation? If everybody is equal in God's eyes, why are those apart of the LGBTQ+ community discriminated against?

To be redundant, in the united Canadian church, again, they don't discriminate against LGBT, either in terms of being a follower, part of the ministry itself, marriage, or whatever, due to some quote from the bible having to do with Jesus inviting everyone from prostitutes to tax collectors to eat with him, they basically take from that, that perception of morality aside, discrimination isn't very Christian-like.
... Except it is, depending on which parts of the bible you feel like reading. People tend to forget, but, the bible is not a book, it's a series of books written by numerous different people, with several individual writings added in, removed, and altered based off of the events happening to Christians at the time. There's a lot of stuff that's de-canonized entirely because Christians at the time didn't like it, or certain churches didn't feel it matched their depiction of what the bible should be.
