@@yeahcat7509 Dawkins keeps winging like a spoilt kid each time the other doesn't agree with him. Tantrums.:) He argues about religion all the time yet , till these dayshe didn't make an effort to look up what's it all about. I remember when once he was losing control again when proving a full religious audience that God doesn't exist because he doesn't get it, and went around with a thought, until he just proved there is God. But he couldn't understand it obviously, only the audience. Everyone started laughing, and he got even more frustrated.:)) "What is it?!! What are you laughing at?!!" He was making a fool of himself.:)) Rightly so. He should study everything before giving an expert advice on it. Arrogant pr*ck.

How did he even survive in prison? I haven't had so much as a speeding ticket in 20yrs & I'd have had a 'problem' with him immediately.
Imagine you make it through medical school, you help, you heal, you serve your community, you're given the title "doctor", which to thinking people is a far more respectful title than 'reverend'.
I do applaud Mr Dawkins for allowing the "cultist without a cult" Bray to expose the lunacy & cowardice of his efforts. If Bray was actually paid for this, however, I take that back.
To see a grown man try to explain how he knows the nature & origin of the universe where true genius doesn't, and the laughably childish fantasy world he's trying desperately to believe - I'm actually relieved that the proceeding generations simply won't put up with this - not just Bray's sick fantasy, but they're far better informed, and less susceptible to gullibility.
Bray will have his moment, no matter how much of himself he throws into his "it's true 'cause the bible says so" attitude. As a thinking adult, everyone eventually comes to that crossroads. Deep down, they know it's not true. No matter how much they want it to be, no matter how lost they might feel as they initially cope with the reality. I hope they're given leniency as they 'transition' to non-believers & see the positive side of it all.
How *should* people respond to an utter silence that is deaf to our every dose of pain for what, 300k years? How is it that we call someone who wouldn't dare say his name, "god"? In our species' entire history, this entity has not once made a single sound. God is a 'he', he loves us, and the punishment for not loving him back is eternal fire. Watch the christian expression when they describe 'hell'. The revel in its torments. We are to deny our intellects, pretend he's there, believe those are his words in the bible/on stone tablets, punish 'sinners' accordingly. The 'virgin' thing is what first got me to look at smarter scenarios. Jesus had a father & mother. They had a baby. If you don't believe that he was conceived naturally, I do hope you find comfort in this - but I do not.

Reverend Michael Bray is an American Lutheran minister who was convicted in 1985, along with two other defendants of two counts of conspiracy and one count of possessing unregistered explosive devices in relation to seven bombings of women's health clinics and three offices of women's health advocacy groups in Washington, D.C. Bray and his wife, Jayne, are the named defendants in the Supreme Court decision Bray v. Alexandria, a ruling that determined anti-abortion demonstrators could not block entrances to abortion clinics in order to stop patients from entering to receive services.

You and I would remember a time when we could be imprisoned just for expressing who we are. So many of the countries with laws against homosexuality based those laws on religious beliefs. Indeed, I was quite active in my younger years joining campaigns to abolish those laws.
In recent years I actively campaigned in Melbourne for marriage equality (which we achieved in 2017). This campaign was set against an awful public discussion culminating in a postal plebiscite. I think he was expecting Dawkins to argue so he could get 'righteously' indignant and argumentative but the fact RD gave him enough rope to hang himself terrified him. He was covering his genitals and shifting and turning his head from side to side due to the discomfort of knowing deep down he was talking crap. 'Dawkins' pal, Princeton prof. Peter Singer, advocates for euthanizing children
up to one year of age and you're affronted by this religious guy? Singer is so insane
as to be enraged by "animal abuse"...unless human.
Dawkins titled his BBC Documentary, "The Root of All Evil"...guess what?!
"In 75 years, genocidally atheistic Communism was responsible for 100 million
deaths"--Harvard University Press, "The Black Book of Communism"
"Of the 1,763 wars dating to 300 BCE, religion (other than Islam) was the
impetus of 61." (The Encyclopedia of War, Vols. I-III) THAT'S 3.5%, though contains OVER HALF earth's population!
The 20th century alone had wars consuming 136 million lives. WWs I&II were the
product of leaders: Churchill, Stalin, Hitler, Tojo, FDR, Kaiser Wilhelm, Lloyd George,
Clemenceau, Wilson, Mussolini. NOT ONE advanced their aggressions predicated
upon RELIGIONS of any kind, sect, denomination...
BUT...'Religion is the Root of All Evil'!
The Council of Nicea originated institutional hospital/infirmary, education, indigent
care. It is THE DIRECT LINEAL ANTECEDENT of those social causes today.
WHY NEVER FACTS from the Dawkins of the world for their libels such as
"Root of All Evil"?! ONLY the religious are so nakedly, provably libelously,
gleefully bigotedly smeared. NEVER would the sanctimonious Dawkins
DREAM of lying similarly about BLACKS, WOMEN, JEWS...
It is done purely to declare his smarmy, self-aggrandizing purity...
read: SUPERIORITY! IT NEVER CHANGES...THEY'RE ALWAYS THE SAME:
Hitler, Pol Pot, Kim Jung Un, Ceaucescu..."I'm the one pure, inspired visionary"

Belief system can be built around anything. Not only God.
      Everyone believes in something.
You too. Atheists usually put themselves into God's place. Or money, addictions etc. Anything that they worship more than a God and consumes their lives. They decide what's morally right or wrong, what's a sin and what isn't, who should live (IVF, contraception to select children) who can't( abortion, euthanasia). You don't know what religion means so you can't recognise it in real life.
Satanists are religious too, they just believe in the evil, not in the good.
