The economy globally and nationally looks dim. The trump/Pence approach to addressing the corona virus outbreak is disturbingly inadequate and linked to our economy. How will this unfold in our nation and beyond as we prepare for November?
Jerome Mayoral Great question!! This interview was recorded on Feb 19, before the stock market became so volatile this week (Feb 24-28.) I, too, would like to know Dan’s take on the potential consequences of the lies and minimizing of the coronavirus outbreak by Trump and friends. Even worse, they are trying to control public health officials by telling them not to speak out before running it past Pence. “Controlling the narrative” could have grave consequences as a very real virus spreads across the U.S. If the economy tanks, too, it will be terrible for us, though likely terrible for Trump electorally.
MaryAnn Brown thank you, Mary Ann. I absolutely agree. It will be good to hear how Dan thinks about the recent economic upheaval, how it is connected to the previous economic blunders of this administration...including the state of American agriculture and other economic activities as well as how it is interwoven into the November results. I wonder when the American voters will get a strong sense of the contrasts between what the two parties offer economically as well as regarding public health.
Poor yesterday's Pfeiffer... None could have seen the Manchin cul-de-sac and minority tyranny that ended up happening...
