I’m a Tamiya collector. Phillips hardware is something you just have to accept. Some of their kits do come with hex but it’s the TRF cars and R-spec cars.
It’s not Philips, it’s JIS. Japanese Industrial Standard. Pick yourself up a set of drivers. It looks like a Philips but it’s slightly different. You’ll end up rounded out the screws after a while using Philips.
It's pronounced Tamiya lol...anyway that is a sharp car 💯 I'm actually hesitant to get any Tamiya kit, I know when I get one that is all it will take, they have so many awesome kits, and I don't have the space to fall into that rabbit hole.... awesome find and cool video 💯
Unfortunately phillips is Tamiya. Never been a big fan of T due to their plethora of plastics. Typically poor handling vehicles as well compared to other mfgs. Beautiful car but the mfg materials meh…
WOW You lucky Man, that little car is Absolutely Gorgeous ❤❤⭐⭐💜💜😀😀🎈🎈

@@FoundryRC yeah, I think that’s why I was drawn to the car at first. But ended up liking it overall.
Beautiful car is that, Tamiya and Kyosho got the most detailed cars for sure
Couldn't agree more!

Tamiya always had Philips
Yeah, I heard on most of their kits they are Phillips. But some of their higher-end vehicles are hex. Thanks for watching.
