I was there and it was thundering every second one night, I had to sleep in my moms room because I was so scared, my dad was at work that night and he could feel the tornados winds! I'm so glad he's safe, I'll pray for all the people who are in this horrible storm right now.. If the hurricane is still going on! XD

I have never felt winds and rain that strong and heavy ever in my life
I live in Deltona and during the hurricane my power was out for four days.. Glad that was the worst we had to deal with. Went to Daytona a few days later and it was so flooded. What a sight to see.
Shenewnana Fun I have so many co workers with trees through the roofs of their homes & cars. Power lines down and basically no part of Jacksonville without major power outages. So many Linemen and power trucks from other area's and neighboring states helping us get out power back.
my mom lives off of San Jose about 3 miles north of Goodby's lake. I tried to get her to come up here where I live, Atlanta, but she wouldn't. Her power never even went out, she just had a mess in the yard.
We have three pit bulls, which we couldn't of taken with us to Alabama because my grandma has dogs of her own, And the two are pregnant, on had puppies last night, the other is due any day now.

I didn't loose power saw a few power lines down from Port St Lucie FL. This video shows the worst of the worst most likely and no roofs missing. One tree fell into a home nearby me. From what I see most business opened the very next day. Compared to 10 years ago when every other house had a blue tarp and trash was not picked up for 6 weeks this is all hype. It could just be I got lucky and other areas are worse off but that's my perspective. Then again Katrina was not a big deal in Florida even though it did go over us.
