I have training for helicopters so it didn't take me long to figure her out. Always make sure your turbos are off. Lock your wheel brakes, use the speedbrake if necessary and start the approach from a decent distance. Use the feel rather than the instruments and always land into the wind.
Thank you for commenting on my post. Unfortunately I am unsure if I can put it up as the majority of the work was someone else, I only tweaked it. I did send the original creator a link to these videos and asked if I can share my variant, even if I did so via his personal share. But I never got a reply.
You are correct. I tried simulating that with my latest videos. A lot has changed with the Lady since this video. Feel free to watch and let me know what you think?
Airwolf had the helmet which works the same way as the F35 Lightning helmet does today. Technically, as a result, it doesn't really need a HUD as the HUD is in the helmet display. The helmet provides real-time information about Airwolf's flight performance (AOA, Airspeed, V-speed, Altitude, G-force, Artificial Horizon. Etc) as well as information on all targets. It also provides full 360° view outside of The Lady. In addition. Night vision and thermal vision is available as well as blast blindess protection.
Hey hey. I am so glad you enjoyed it. I "modded" the mod for X-Plane 11. The original mod needed some tweaking as some of the programming wasn't canon. Hope you enjoy all the other Airwolf videos. I really hope one day they bring back the lady onscreen.
I'm a huge fan of the TV show I appreciate you bring this back
Thank you for bringing the lady back to life!
Always a pleasure
🏅The Lady in Grey. Is Dancing for me
I have The Lady as well in X-plane 11. Taking off off not hard, flying isn't as well. But landing.... did that take you a long time to practise?

String must of cut the sound system for that darn soundtrack at one point 😂❤
I'm sure he probably did!
Loved this show. I wish they'd bring her back, completely upgraded.
Well... More to come today. I have been working on a new Airwolf project. Stay tuned!
Quick question : Is this the original model of the Bell 222 or is it another model? (for example, Bell 222B or UT model)
The original Airwolf, if I am not mistaking, was a Bell 222b
@@justwingitsa Is this on Microsoft FSX?
@@tranterminus no, this is on X-Plane 11. 🙃 However, there is a version for FSX as well but it isn't as "canon" as this one.
@@desmondlocker7343 Oh ok, got it. Thanks!
Seeing a big low and slow Bell chopper inverted would freak me out😂
You and me both!
Hi Great job. I have the original Xplane Airwolf. Are you going to put this up for download so others can give her a spin.

Thought the heads up was in the helmet

Why did the internals take soundbites from millipede 😂
Haha. Don't know. But fun fact, Airwolf's howl is from the Tie-fighters in Star Wars.
@@justwingitsa i was trying to fnd out ths never made the connection
If you can do this I live in Los Angeles and a huge fan of TV show
Airwolf to Union station downtown Los Angeles
Airwolf at Union station or at dodger stadium
AirWolf should have had a HUD from the very beginning.

This is awesome I loved the show! Did you create this or is this a combo of a flight sim for a Bell 222 and a combat sim?
