Awesome project, what gets my attentions is that the gear doenst "sit down" properly on the bump stops, Airwolf sits too high on the wheels. The real life airwolf or bell 222, stands a bit lower on the wheels i think. The belley is close to the ground also the rear is lower then the front. So i think the suspension needs some tweaking around. It should kneel down a bit more when the lift is gone. Front wheel mount should be almost horizontal on the horizion. Edit here you go: th-cam.com/video/SB0ZEe_xbYs/w-d-xo.html Fastforward to 3:30 Here you can see what i mean. If it goes up, you really can see the wheels hang down. Don't know if you can simulate such suspension movement in FS2020 though. Greetings!
Though I agree with you, that was a decision I made specifically so that the ADF pod position on the belly could be lowered while sitting on the tarmac. I'll have a look though to see if I can tighten the margins a bit.
Technically we already have her. Joshua Cowan has an amazing Bell 206 on his website and the Microsoft marketplace and it includes a faithfully recreated Santini Air livery!! Maybe I'll showcase it sometime on my channel.
You should definitely talk to Josh Cowan at CowanSim as he built the 222's (retractable gear and skids models) for X-Plane (which are fabulous). I know he was/is planning on bringing all of his models over to MSFS (I think the MD500 is next) but he might be open to a collab.
I have spoken to Joshua on a few occasions but I suspect there's little I could offer him in return for his assistance on my project lol. That being said, I'm a huge fan of his work and thrilled that he's finally bringing his products over to msfs. If he's willing to share some of his secret sauce with my I'd be more than happy to use it to improve my project. The way I see it, either way it's a win for all of us to see more helicopter developers making products for msfs.
U really did a good job on this project. I talked with Josh too.I shared my personal Airwolf for my own use. He told how he modeled the lady etc.. here is my little preview of my customization : th-cam.com/video/F20UtAk_1PY/w-d-xo.html. Josh did a great job on the flight model.
Will this be released for sale? If you can make her fly like the lady with Mach 1+ capabilities, I am willing to pay a premium for her. Please make sure it will be available on the Xbox too. I am a HUGE fan of Airwolf. My money is ready to be given to you. I was just thinking about this the other day, about how much I would love to see Airwolf in MSFS. You are now my hero. Many thanks.
That's all placeholder sound for now. It's one area that I definitely know and want to improve. Unfortunately sound design isn't one of my strengths :/

Will this be on xbox & will you add in the turbo mode & also the icon howling sound
both of those are very high on my priority but adding turbo is going to be tricky (as airwolf flies more like a jet in turbo mode)
Is an interior planned? I never ever fly helis from an outside view. Looks nice on the outside though.
yup it does have a fully modeled interior. If you look at others videos on my channel I have one where I show an earlier prototype of the interior.
@@cptairwolf Oh sorry I just scrolled through this video and didn't see one. Looking forward to it!! "Give me a Copperhead, Dom!"
Is there anyway you can make the (Santini Air JetRanger), to go with the Lady?
Technically we already have her. Joshua Cowan has an amazing Bell 206 on his website and the Microsoft marketplace and it includes a faithfully recreated Santini Air livery!! Maybe I'll showcase it sometime on my channel.
Sir one question where can you download the model
No download available as of yet as it's still a work in progress. I hope to be able to provide an alpha version "soon" though.
@@cptairwolf tysm no Problem 👍🏻
Looks amazing!
Man I love the show Ables and your Airle looks very shop can you please release it and make a Live
life where are you test it
I'm in love!
take my money~!
This look great but I can not watch this video the background music is up way to load and the voice is way to soft.
Apologies. I'm pretty new to making video so that's something I'll have to work on improving.
Magnífico 👏 👏
Will this be released for sale? If you can make her fly like the lady with Mach 1+ capabilities, I am willing to pay a premium for her. Please make sure it will be available on the Xbox too. I am a HUGE fan of Airwolf. My money is ready to be given to you. I was just thinking about this the other day, about how much I would love to see Airwolf in MSFS. You are now my hero. Many thanks.
Awesome!
Will you be able to get this on to xbox please??
Can not wait to fly the Lady I dream about iet wen I sleap I wach your wiedios ewry day to hope time pasts by .
Good video but music is to loud. It’s running over your voice.
I'll keep that in mind for the next one.
Take my money….
doesn't look like airwolf. no chainguns and the inside gauges look totally different.........also no turbo
Sound bad.
That's all placeholder sound for now. It's one area that I definitely know and want to improve. Unfortunately sound design isn't one of my strengths :/
