    The size of your steaks could feed a family of 4 lol😊! I don't like steak unless it's in a stew or casserole but I love watching you cook amazing food on a camp fire. ❤

    Good old mess tins, still have mine from my R.E.M.E. days from the 80`s and my hexi burner. I still use the army tin opener which is about 35 years old now. Love the cooking, wild garlic is so good for seasoning a meal. I`m lucky there is loads where I live.

    Beautiful place and the pheasant is beautiful. Glad to hear it is not on the menu as tempting as it must be. :) Stuffe pheasant is very good with an orange/apricot glazed sauce (Another time maybe). Your dehydrated dinner does look tasty! Love, Love Love Wild Garlic. I go foraging for it and what I do not eat fresh I dehydrate it for my dried herb mix. By the way Congrats on quitting smoking.! Your meals never disappoint. :) You make cooking on a fire so much fun.

    Off-the-wall question... In a couple places (where he starts chopping wood and where he goes for "a bit of an explore"), there's a guitar piece in the background. Does anyone know the name of the piece or who's playing it? I love it and want to listen! Thanks.

    still waiting for you to do an official full out rainbow trout or salmon weekend.
    catch the fish yourself, and do your chef gordan/ survivor-man thing to it
    prepare the entire fish. wild rice, lemon.. veges.. anything that would compliment a full rainbow trout
    then the next day, batter another fish up for chips and fish
    (store bought halibut would be best)
    I am amazed you seem to be able to cook around a camp fire better than I can my oven/ stone in my own kitchen.
    OOOOO....
    then a deep fried turkey camp out !
    being careful not to burn down the entire forest

    Hiya! Those wild garlic shoots looked very aromatic, I must try looking for those in my area... I enjoy your wry wit too, as when you said “I was under the impression that I had potatoes too”. 🙂... In one scenic shot, the weather looked like it might easily rain there. Looked like late Spring, but wasn’t sure. Lovely spot (did you say Sussex or Surrey? Please pardon my sketchy sense of geography)... Very enjoyable episode. Thanks, Andy!

    • @KentSurvival
      @KentSurvival  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      haha, always looks like its about to rain here :p yes this was right at the beginning of spring, feels like so long ago all ready. I do love the wild garlic but its rare closer to where I live unfortunately.

    Hey man, You know I really love your posts! But I want to ask you out of the blue....what are your thoughts on the veganism movement which is taking a place on social media? Do you see the benefits on an environmental/ social level?

    • @KentSurvival
      @KentSurvival  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Claire, thank you as always. Hard question to answer haha, I am quite a meat eater myself but I did spend about 2 years as a vegetarian when I was a teenager. Its another one of these things that has the larger issue of an overpopulated world meaning to feed everyone takes too many resources... i'm not a very political minded person but I do know the next couple of generations are really going to start feeling the strain of a lack of resources unfortunately.

    Alright mate? I love your camping videos. Keep them up. But why do you keep filming yourself eating those shitty army rations? Please stop eating them! If you're skint I can post you a pie or some bread and jam no worries 👍
