So nice to see your report! In this way we experience our journey one more time. We were in Italy in April and are now back in the Netherlands by boat. Have a safe trip to both of you and we hope to see you again! Ruud & Bep.

Thanks Ruud & Bep, if you head down to the Med let us know - we will be in Sardinia in November hopefully. Thanks for watching.

It´s a pleasure to see all this places again, after staying there 2021. At this time the current was much faster than I have seen on your videos. There are 3 locks on the Main_ Donau Canal, each has 24,67m high. thanks for sharing your journey.

Thanks again for watching! It's good to get feedback from travellers who know the places we've explored and add other information.
      Best wishes

Loving your videos as always. Interesting that Port 2 was still functioning when you were there. By the time we visited in June 2023 it had totally closed, all the finger pontoons had been removed and it was dangerous to enter due to twisted, rusty metal and lines under water.
We ended up heading another 4 hours downstream to Aramon. Long day!

Thank you for this update - I think it’s vital to get up to date info for others to use and be safe. Banking on a mooring that’s gone is frustrating and could be game changing if leaving the arrival late in the day!
Stay safe and thank again for the update 👍👍👍

They closed ... maybe June 1st? I came upstream and was allowed to stay one night while they were in the process of disassembling everything. Bloody shame, it was the only bolt hole between Avignon and Viviers.

You folks are nailing it. Your video quality gets better and better. Are you planning a "full length feature film?" (lol) Well done, please keep up the excellent work...

I received feedback yesterday updating the Port 2 l'Ardoise status and it seems that marina is no longer in operation.
