Thanks so much for this video! I ended in the ER for Hyperthyroidism, they had me stay the night, found 2 nodules on my throat, and gave me a prescription and referred me to a doctor. Thank God I saw this video, because I was still breastfeeding and I didn’t want to take any prescription. I started to take care of myself, drink green smoothies daily, going to the Gym, having quiet time, journaling, reading, reducing stress and taking iodine. Two weeks later I got checked by a doctor and he couldn’t find any of the nodules! He also checked my hormones and all levels were normal! Granted, a lot of people were praying for me and I was also, because I didn’t want to stop breastfeeding, but your video was an answer to the prayers! The doctor couldn’t believe it, he originally mentioned that I could have high levels of iodine, so when I told him I had actually been taking extra iodine and that gave me energy he was buff led, but needless to say, he told me to continue taking it! To clarify, I got Lugols Iodine, the Orange color one, and did a skin test, and my skin absorbed it quickly, that way I knew I was deficient in it!

Dr. Tom, can this healing process work even if i had biopsy done on my thyroid nodule? 5 years ago, doctors let me believe it is the only way to know if it is cancer or not. Back then i didnt know. Now they want to surgically remove the nodule but my hormones are normal.

I recently underwent a needle biopsy for nodules on left side of my thyroid. I was completely freaked out but as it turned out it was completely painless and not at all what I had envisioned....you know a needle the size of a telephone pole. LOL. They were benign but omg the angst while I was waiting to do this was off the chart.
My situation is thus: 3 years ago I was driving the family on an RV trip out west. I was messaging my neck while driving and noticed a lump on the front side of my throat. Being a major worry wort I avoided seeing a DR and continued to reason with myself that it was nothing..and I felt fine. Lots of energy...no weight gain normal normal normal...fast forward a year and my wife got so tired of hearing me worry, she then convinced me to see a DR. I did. He sent me to ENT. He ordered an ultrasound that showed not only the superior nodual but several others. Largest one measures 2.6 CM. He also ordered a FNA biopsy. That came back as benign. Today I had my yearly checkup and it has grown to 3.2 CM. All of the normal TSA is normal range. I did try iodine a few months ago and my Thyroid was actually in pain during the week I tried it. Once I stopped, it subsided. I have a rather high stress life and I'm a very reactive person. That can't be doing the thyroid any favors. The absolute biggest thing in worry about is this thing turning into the C word. Any thoughts?
@ Matthew Ive read lots of people have thyroid nodules . I found one on my throat last month. It is worrisome as its on front . After ultra sound doctor said it was on tip of isthmus. Probably spelled wrong but commenting takes so much time . Must go eat something. Keep us updated. I may or may not have that biopsy done the doctor ordered. I may try iodine ? Not before i research more.

Not disciplined enough. However, using pharmaceutical grade bicarb soda, I've reduced nodules therefore only need half thyroid removed. ...I like a couple of beers here n there 😏

I've had my thyroid nodules, soft, for over 10 years and I have always been a singer. I look for voice changes that don't clear up with blowing out my pipes LOL, and I should probably have them checked again. But, I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian since 1980 and a vegan since 2014, raw vegan for nearly 6 months and I don't seem to be having any problem. I became type 1 diabetic when my doctor for some unknown reason gave me Lipitor, generic, and I couldn't Sue because it was generic. Now I'm going completely raw and my insulin has been cut in half and will hopefully go away when I'm completely raw 100% of the time. I had 15 pages of blood work, ultrasound, and x-rays done and all was perfect with exception to the diabetes. I mean everything including thyroid levels, T3 T4 Etc. But my kidney count was somewhat lower than it should have been, but for age 67 I'm not doing bad and being at the bottom of the BMI scale as well. No sugar here. The name for sugar is cancer. They just don't tell you what the real name is. And right now I started taking nascent iodine again and I feel better. I do the ketogenic vegan diet intermittent fasting daily. I eat around 2 p.m. and stop at around 10 p.m. everyday and fast the remainder. I take 3 drops a day. My doctor said it was fine.

I did look at the free diet. Thank you. My question or concern is that I am a vegetarian. I really need some beans and even a little dairy I feel. I have cut out all sugar, gluten, processed foods. Also starting the iodine protocol soon. I am in the same boat it seems as your wife. Nodules appeared from out of nowhere and I have no thyroid disease, cancer, etc. Also very, cysty breasts!

What if you are a vegan? I was on a Paleo diet for two years in an attempt to help my nodules which did help a little. I have been been on a plant based diet for approximately 4 months which of course include legumes, rice etc. The reason for this is I wanted to eliminate as much as possible excess estrogens and other hormones found in meat and diary. Although I haven't seen much difference in my thyroid nodules, I have regarding my breast cysts. My next step is to cut out gluten again as I fell back in the habit of eating it again!
I am a vegan. I just skip the meat and still follow the free diet. It has been working well to me. Just for long term, I need to look into the nutrition i am lack of by following this diet list.

I noticed a left thyroid mass May 2019. The ultrasound on July 9 comments were that there is a predominantly solid left thyroid mass with some cystic components measuring 5.4 x 3.4 cm. There is a 12 mm cystic solid mass in the interpolar region on the right side. On August 9, a needle biopsy was carried out of this mass and was described as a follicular lesion of undetermined significance. TSH level was 1.65 mU/L, T4 Free 12.0 pmol/L, T3 Free 4.9 pmol/L on Sept 9. The surgeon told me that at minimum I will require a lobectomy. He has scheduled another biopsy. To me, the mass was sudden, a virus hit me hard in January, that lasted for a number of months, all affecting the head area. The surgeon suggested I most likely had the nodules already as they are slow growing 2mm per year. Not keen on giving up my thyroid. Given that everything else is normal, as in the thyroid is functioning, no weight gain etc. Is it possible to shrink the above mass with your method?

I found just to keep the swelling down, put a raw cabbage leaf on your thyroid, that you have flattened with wooden spoon. Bandage around your neck when going to bed. Just helps a little.

Story sounds like my lots of stress care taker for loved one who recently passed away. Found nodule on my neck a month ago. I showed doctor and he ordered ultra sound. Doctori urgently need your help I went to a functional doctor about 18 months ago & was diagnosed with Hashimotos. I had a IfA & IgG food sensitivities tests done. I started to feel much better till she gave me a thyroid supplement my throat starting hurting & I went from my doctor to a Endocrinologist to a ENT. Randy Correia I have Hashimotos too as indicated by the thyroid antibody tests. Did you have those run? Try intermittent fasting and eating ketogenic diet (low carb, moderate protein, high good fats no sugar), which helps reverse autoimmune diseases and extreme inflammation. Do a TH-cam search on these topics to learn more. Fast for 3 days on water only if you can to reset your body. It could be what you are eating or drinking. Keep track in a log. Good luck!

I think it works better if you don’t eat meat, as my nodules shrunk more than 50% by less than three weeks. However, for a vegan, we do need to look into our Vit b12, Vit d and protein intakes.

I used the link supplied. Phase 1 was supposed to be "on the way" to my Email address. Nothing. The time spent watching your video was wasted. It is also rather cruel to promise people with Thyroid Nodules that your diet can shrink them and not ensure that the diet reaches their Inbox.
I was diagnosed what's a toxic nodule they called it about 9 years ago, I was given radiation and supposedly it shrunk but was still there, down the road I don't know maybe a couple years all of a sudden I went from a hundred and five pounds all my life now mind you except during pregnancy to 140 lb! And I think the most shocking thing was sometimes I would go and still do for literally days without eating any solid food, as long as I had a bottle of Gatorade or Vitamin Water I had no hunger at all!! My hair which is long had started falling out tremendously though I take good care of it. The list of horrible side effects just goes on and on and don't want to bore you all as much as that video bored me, sorry but I could not find one thing that was helpful in it. I went to Google and enjoyed a couple hours of learning so much about the thyroid and how and why I was going through so many different changes, the endrocrinologist just likes to hand you a pill and say you take one of these a day for the rest of your life! The side effects from the pill we're horrible. I'm half asleep I apologize I kept trying to watch the video and learn something and I actually dozed off a few times, I will get back with some actual learning tools after I've had a couple days sleep!

In the beginning I had just problems with my stomach but now Im having also pain in my fingers, knee and also a pain in my eyes and over right rib. This was a so so video. You never got to explaining the diet. When I looked at the pdf you sent, I don’t know how anyone could even manage to follow this eating plan for a month. You can’t eat anything. It would have helped if you had explained how to implement the diet. As far as I can see the only thing you can eat are few proteins like chicken and fish, and salad greens. What the heck do you eat for breakfast or lunch? No eggs are allowed , no dairy, no gluten, no green beans, peas etc. Looks extremely difficult to follow

I also found some info on someting that could be injected in nodules to make them shrink. Google " can people with hyperthyroidism AND nodules take iodine? I found article on right side of page. Unable to give you websight now. Sounded hopeful. I will ask an endocrinologist. It mentioned people who did not want surgery or age or health reasons went that route. That's fantastic and so encouraging! I really like you guys, I was recently diagnosed with a thyroid nodule, so this gives me hope.
My situation is thus: 3 years ago I was driving the family on an RV trip out west. I was messaging my neck while driving and noticed a lump on the front side of my throat. Being a major worry wort I avoided seeing a DR and continued to reason with myself that it was nothing..and I felt fine. Lots of energy...no weight gain normal normal normal...fast forward a year and my wife got so tired of hearing me worry, she then convinced me to see a DR. I did. He sent me to ENT. He ordered an ultrasound that showed not only the superior nodual but several others. Largest one measures 2.6 CM. He also ordered a FNA biopsy. That came back as benign. Today I had my yearly checkup and it has grown to 3.2 CM. All of the normal TSA is normal range. I did try iodine a few months ago and my Thyroid was actually in pain during the week I tried it. Once I stopped, it subsided. I have a rather high stress life and I'm a very reactive person. That can't be doing the thyroid any favors. The absolute biggest thing in worry about is this thing turning into the C word. Any thoughts?
Btw...I am 41 year old Male and my mothers side of the family is riddled with thyroid issues. Out of her 11 siblings, 8 of them have Hashimoto's.
@ Matthew Ive read lots of people have thyroid nodules . I found one on my throat last month. It is worrisome as its on front . After ultra sound doctor said it was on tip of isthmus. Probably spelled wrong but commenting takes so much time . Must go eat something. Keep us updated.

In general, I recommend testing before taking iodine to see if a supplement is needed.

I've had my thyroid nodules, soft, for over 10 years and I have always been a singer. I look for voice changes that don't clear up with blowing out my pipes LOL, and I should probably have them checked again. But, I've been a lacto-ovo vegetarian since 1980 and a vegan since 2014, raw vegan for nearly 6 months and I don't seem to be having any problem. I became type 1 diabetic when my doctor for some unknown reason gave me Lipitor, generic, and I couldn't Sue because it was generic. Now I'm going completely raw and my insulin has been cut in half and will hopefully go away when I'm completely raw 100% of the time. I had 15 pages of blood work, ultrasound, and x-rays done and all was perfect with exception to the diabetes. I mean everything including thyroid levels, T3 T4 Etc. But my kidney count was somewhat lower than it should have been, but for age 67 I'm not doing bad and being at the bottom of the BMI scale as well. No sugar here. The name for sugar is cancer. They just don't tell you what the real name is. And right now I started taking nascent iodine again and I feel better. I do the ketogenic vegan diet intermittent fasting daily. I eat around 2 p.m. and stop at around 10 p.m. everyday and fast the remainder. I take 3 drops a day. My doctor said it was fine.

I did look at the free diet. Thank you. My question or concern is that I am a vegetarian. I really need some beans and even a little dairy I feel. I have cut out all sugar, gluten, processed foods. What if you are a vegan? I was on a Paleo diet for two years in an attempt to help my nodules which did help a little. I have been been on a plant based diet for approximately 4 months which of course include legumes, rice etc. The reason for this is I wanted to eliminate as much as possible excess estrogens and other hormones found in meat and diary. Although I haven't seen much difference in my thyroid nodules, I have regarding my breast cysts. My next step is to cut out gluten again as I fell back in the habit of eating it again!

It is possibel without surgery
I noticed a left thyroid mass May 2019. The ultrasound on July 9 comments were that there is a predominantly solid left thyroid mass with some cystic components measuring 5.4 x 3.4 cm. There is a 12 mm cystic solid mass in the interpolar region on the right side. On August 9, a needle biopsy was carried out of this mass and was described as a follicular lesion of undetermined significance. TSH level was 1.65 mU/L, T4 Free 12.0 pmol/L, T3 Free 4.9 pmol/L on Sept 9. The surgeon told me that at minimum I will require a lobectomy. He has scheduled another biopsy. To me, the mass was sudden, a virus hit me hard in January, that lasted for a number of months, all affecting the head area. The surgeon suggested I most likely had the nodules already as they are slow growing 2mm per year. Not keen on giving up my thyroid. Given that everything else is normal, as in the thyroid is functioning, no weight gain etc. Is it possible to shrink the above mass with your method?
Infections can be underlying cause for nodules in addition to other factors. I found just to keep the swelling down, put a raw cabbage leaf on your thyroid, that you have flattened with wooden spoon. Bandage around your neck when going to bed. Just helps a little.

Doctori urgently need your help I went to a functional doctor about 18 months ago & was diagnosed with Hashimotos. I had a IfA & IgG food sensitivities tests done. I started to feel much better till she gave me a thyroid supplement my throat starting hurting & I went from my doctor to a Endocrinologist to a ENT. Randy Correia I have Hashimotos too as indicated by the thyroid antibody tests. Did you have those run? Try intermittent fasting and eating ketogenic diet (low carb, moderate protein, high good fats no sugar), which helps reverse autoimmune diseases and extreme inflammation. Do a TH-cam search on these topics to learn more. Fast for 3 days on water only if you can to reset your body. It could be what you are eating or drinking. Keep track in a log. Good luck!

I think it works better if you don’t eat meat, as my nodules shrunk more than 50% by less than three weeks. However, for a vegan, we do need to look into our Vit b12, Vit d and protein intakes.
But overall, by following the free diet and skipping the meat and make it a vegan diet works very amazing

I used the link supplied. Phase 1 was supposed to be "on the way" to my Email address. Nothing. The time spent watching your video was wasted. It is also rather cruel to promise people with Thyroid Nodules that your diet can shrink them and not ensure that the diet reaches their Inbox.
I was diagnosed what's a toxic nodule they called it about 9 years ago, I was given radiation and supposedly it shrunk but was still there, down the road I don't know maybe a couple years all of a sudden I went from a hundred and five pounds all my life now mind you except during pregnancy to 140 lb! And I think the most shocking thing was sometimes I would go and still do for literally days without eating any solid food, as long as I had a bottle of Gatorade or Vitamin Water I had no hunger at all!! My hair which is long had started falling out tremendously though I take good care of it. The list of horrible side effects just goes on and on and don't want to bore you all as much as that video bored me, sorry but I could not find one thing that was helpful in it. I went to Google and enjoyed a couple hours of learning so much about the thyroid and how and why I was going through so many different changes, the endrocrinologist just likes to hand you a pill and say you take one of these a day for the rest of your life! The side effects from the pill we're horrible. I'm half asleep I apologize I kept trying to watch the video and learn something and I actually dozed off a few times, I will get back with some actual learning tools after I've had a couple days sleep!

Hi Dr. Ive been having blastocyst hominis infection for some months. In the beginning I had just problems with my stomach but now Im having also pain in my fingers, knee and also a pain in my eyes and over right rib. Some doctors argument that many people who have this parasite still have no symptoms or issues and that it's not certain that a persons symptoms is because of the blastocysts. This was a so so video. You never got to explaining the diet. When I looked at the pdf you sent, I don’t know how anyone could even manage to follow this eating plan for a month. You can’t eat anything. It would have helped if you had explained how to implement the diet. As far as I can see the only thing you can eat are few proteins like chicken and fish, and salad greens. What the heck do you eat for breakfast or lunch? No eggs are allowed , no dairy, no gluten, no green beans, peas etc. Looks extremely difficult to follow
I have a nodule on my thyroid. Got an ultrasound and my doctor is stressing me in getting a FNA done, I am 20 weeks pregnant. How else could I go about this naturally, diet, etc..

I took some iodine and it caused my thyroid to enlarge. Why?
Iodine is cause to enlarge it, but if you take sea salt is goos and green tea

You haven't really said anything that will help shrink a thyroid, but surgery.
did you listen to the video at all ?? they said she did it with a special eating/food regime!
I also found some info on someting that could be injected in nodules to make them shrink. Google " can people with hyperthyroidism AND nodules take iodine?
I found article on right side of page. Unable to give you websight now. Sounded hopeful. I will ask an endocrinologist.
It mentioned people who did not want surgery or age or health reasons went that route. And from what i surrmised results were good.
