Excited for this shoe. Asics have upped their game since the advent of the carbon plate shoe "arms race". The Asics Metaracer give a carbon plate shoe without the 30mm+ stack height other companies are producing. Will be getting a pair when they are released here in Australia.

Its a beautiful shoe for sure - ASICS is certainly bringing it this year - really interesting conceptually they are all so expensive these days though its hard to try them unless you are a reviewer like all the TH-camrs... guess I need to make a channel! Thanks for this!
I think this lower stack and more stable shoe is quite excellent to have as an option compared to a VF or other high stack shoe on trickier courses/ground.
Really great review! This got more a lot more excited for this shoe to release might be on my radar now. As well we the adidas adizero pro. I’m glad asics, adidas and Skechers are saying more traditional/feel with modernizing technology I guess I’m more old school but I’ve loved the Nike zoom streaks and some older asics flats at well. And i think people have gotten away from that. It’s nice to have a higher stack hight and is definitely more beneficial for fatigue and efficiency as well.
Both? The Endorphin Pro feels less like a racing flat and more like the Vaporfly. The Metaracer is lighter. Both have their own personalities so you’re gonna wanna see which suits you better.

However, you might want to test the shes out a little because I have some running buddies who have used carbon plates and disliked them. In conclusion, it depends on your stride and distance.
