Our favorite breed is Rescue, because every animal deserves to be safe and loved. We have three rescue cats; three different breeds, but all wonderful. Thanks, Kay, for another lovely tutorial!
My favorite cat is a rescued cat. Every cat I've ever owned has been from a rescue. They return the love more often, and usually have the greatest personalities. When it's time for a new member of our family, its off to the rescue organization. Never gone wrong yet.
I currently have a male cat called Orange George. He is the most loveable cat, he checks on me when I am not feeling well and puts a paw on my arm, with the most sympathetic eyes. He answers my questions with a meow and different tones mean yes or no. I have had many cats through out the years and I Loved the ones we picked and the ones that just moved in and all the strays that come looking for a home or food. George is always around to give me opinions on my embroidery and loves every quilt as if it belongs to him. Thank you Kay for all your designs and videos George and I try are best not to miss a single one.
Love your video, the Kitten cushion cover turned out lovely. My cat is named Sammy, we have had him for 5 years now. We rescued him from the pound when he was a year old. He is the best cat ever, I think his is an American shorthair, really not sure. But he is the most behaved cat ever, listens to us all the time.
Great tutorial as always! I truly learn something new from you in every tutorial I have watched! I will be doing this one with smokey grey thread to make a memorial pillow for my Louie who crossed the rainbow bridge in April of this year. He was 14 years old and leaves behind his sister. She seems so lonely without him. I hope she loves this pillow. Also, thank you for the opportunity to win this design.
I have had kitties all my life. My favourite was a Burmese. He was so smart and sweet and loveable. However, right now I have a ginger kitty who is very mischievous and has "me" well trained LOL. I love doing the In The Hoop embroidery all because you make everything so easy to do with your videos.
My favorite breed of cat is a rescued short haired black cat,but the last one that picked us is huge and long haired! He just crawled out from under the sofa one night and stayed, lol. I thought I was allergic to the dogs, so I got tested. Nope, allergic to the cats. That’s what allergy meds are for😂 Thanks for all your helpful videos for those of us that are visual learners!❤
My favourite breed is tabby, after 20 years earlier this year Pebbles went over the rainbow 🌈 bridge but had the most gorgeous green eyes and loved a cuddle in the evenings.
great tutorial, it helps making quilts a bit easier for me at least. I love cats, hate their hair, but I like the shorthair tabbies or cornish rex are my two favorite cat breads
I love traditional Siamese cats ... they are smart, inquisitive and never boring. My current Siamese is called Trouble -- he's always getting into things! Our prior Siamese was named Pest -- he would pester you until you paid attention to him!

I have 3 "Cheetoh" Cats. They are extremely intelligent and very people friendly. They have fantastic personalities and pick things up very quickly. They can play "chase" with a ball just like a dog and the ball is brought back to you so you can throw it again. When they've had enough they won't return the ball and may hide it to get the message through that they have finished playing this particular game for today. They like water and can open doors and cupboard doors. I had to get kiddie locks and put them all around the cupboards. They understand so much of what you are saying to them and come when you call their names. They are very active and playful no matter what age they are. But best of all they love to snuggle up with their adopted Mum. I just love our cuddles. By the way ... I'm not just a Cat Lover - I love all animals (except those 8 legged Monsters!!!!! ). I have enjoyed your video as I have never put a ruffle around anything but after watching how easy you made it look I'm confident enough to have a go at it. Thank You very much and Happy Sewing.
I love rescue cats. I have had four of them. My last cat lived 23 years and was a loving cat. My current cat KOKO does tricks. She stands straight up and begs like a kangaroo. She comes and get us at exactly 8:30 every evening to go to bed. I also have 6 rescue grandkitties.
I don't have a favorite breed, I love them all. I have never had a pure bred kitty, mine have always been "found" kitties, either from a shelter or a friend whose kitty got herself in the family way. One of my kitties came from two brothers who turned out to be brother and sister kitties, whoops! I have had eight cats in my lifetime, the last two living to the ripe old age of 18.5 and 19 years.
I know it's not exactly a breed, but black cats are my favorite. Maybe it's something about the contrast of green or gold eyes against the black fur. As usual, your tutorials are so helpful to watch. Just makes your projects that much easier to sew.
I love all kitties, but I do have 4 domestic short hairs, 1 ginger Harry , Mr Button grey and white, 2 black and white LaCie and Sparkie , 1 also long hair domestic tortie she’s a cutie called Maria, I’ve recently lost my other long hair ginger called Bertie 😢 but had 23 at the most at one time lots of rescues too. Lovin the cushion
I'm begging you for a 6x6 ox 6x10 option. I would love to make this, but my largest hoop is 6" x 10". The kitten reminds me of my cat, Hazmat, who crossed Rainbow Bridge after nearly 21 years of life. He was my constant companion and I still miss him, 3 years later.

Hi Lillian Trapunto is the Italian word for quilting, you can google this by clicking on this link: translate.google.com/?sl=it&tl=en&text=trapunto&op=translate The technique that I am demonstreating is a modern machine quilted version. Made with Vislene high loft batting and a double knit scuba fabric for the exagerated puffy quilting. These machine embroidery patterns have a denser embroidered background and main design is in relief as you can see in the kitten pattern the background has a denser quilted pattern and the kitten is in relief. If you google machine embridery trapunto images you will see that there are lots of different patterns. Click on the link to see: rb.gy/ylklk5 Happy stitching.

Great teaching session! I love kitties because they are cute and lovable and each one has it's own personality!
I love Tabbys because that is what my sweet Shadow is 😊
I don’t have a favorite but have a friend that would love this!!

I haven’t met a cat I didn’t like. All mine are rescue cats but I would love a Maine Coon or polydactyl cat some day.

@@KaysCutz Thanks Kay. I scrolled thru yesterday and found it. Thanks again.
No favorite as I am allergic to the cat hair.
I don't have a favorite. Cats seem to pick me.
I like your quilted pillow top it’s very cute, but that’s not Trapunto.
It's close enough!
