I was gonna order it with 512gb of storage but decided to hold off. I want to see other people test it out. Thins I’d like to know first: 1. Does the cable have to stay with the battery 2. How will it handle ssd storage 3. Will it completely replace my laptop (a big win if it could) 4. Can I open unity editor and visual studio 5. Does it need to be combed to the battery while plugged into the wall, or is it plug and play?
All super solid questions! I'm imagining some sort of dock that you could plug into while at your desk that would provide more storage options and constant power. As far as will it replace your laptop, I'm wondering if we get to the point where the iPad is so powerful that you can pair an AVP to your iPad and have a 60" virtual screen to work off of and never need a laptop or desktop computer

I think that's where I'm at mentally as well. What Apple brings to the table in the way of interfaces has been incredible. But what eventually makes an incredible interface indispensable is the ecosystem of apps and connected devices around them. Super stoked to see what's coming!
I preordered and probably for the app called “NextVr” alone. It was amazing in my oculus then it disappeared one day and I noticed a few years later Apple bought the company! I'm curious to see the roadmap on the AVP. I don't think the price will come down over time on the Pro model, but I do think they'll eventually release an SE or just "Apple Vision" model that will be a cheaper entry into the ecosystem with slightly limited features. The Pro model, I bet we'll see stay around that $3,500 mark and they'll just come up with new tags like "30% lighter" or "50% more powerful" than the original
Way too expensive. I’d have to also buy one for my wife. By the time I load it up and pay for care and taxes it would be close to $9,000. How in any world or universe would I get away buying just one for is to share… too dam expensive.
Yeah, buying two of them would be WILD!
@@DavidManningvlog yup, I could buy one and then my wife would feel left out. Ok I buy it for her as a gift and use it when she’s not… well that won’t work. She’ll ask why I’m always using her gift! I just don’t see buying just one when married.
Hey, can two people with these watch the SAME movie???
Also, is the audio heard by everyone around you? If so, then I still need to buy a set of earbuds. $$$ can you pair earbuds to these?
I have the money I love new tech, but I know it’s too much hype I think in three years it’ll be a flop, but I’m a sucker
I will defo not be buying it, purely for the reasons you mentioned and I’m also not the most technologically inclined 😂
I would LOVE to hear about you trying one out! If you get a chance to do a demo at an Apple store, let me know what you thought of it! I'm super curious to hear what people that think of themselves as not technologically inclined think of this new interface!
isn't this thing going to be $4000+ ?
Sure is😬
The people who will be buying this thing are few and far between my guy. Maybe when they release a cheaper smaller version in the future.
Maaaagiiiccc!!! 😂😂😂 its a great trick
Hahaa! It's my favorite to pull out when the moment strikes🪄
Too expensive. I'll let you try it out and maybe I will buy V3 or 4.
Peace ✌🏼
Too late 😅
I am going to wait until it drops to $340 in 10 years.
if you buy apple monitor it cost 5000 $ anyway so
They buying it but telling everybody else not to buy it what a bunch of hypocrites! Use my on judgment make my on opinion about it and yes I ordered it and I’m just and ordinary person!
God... The back ground music Always turns my off. I rather a car!
Too expensive but it would be cool but the technology is just too new.
Listen to the guy who hasn’t tried one yet or has an expert opinion. Sure buddy what should I spend the money I earned on next?
No, I won't.
Alu-what the fuck frame? Sorry I couldn’t hear you through your garbles😂
I really enjoy your magic trick. But it would be a magic trick to buy that as a broke college student hahahahha.
Hahhaaa! Solid word play there!
@@DavidManningvlog why thank ya! *cough let me try your headset out when it comes cough*
200,000 preorders for Vision Pro? Sounds good.
Until you realize that Meta has sold close to 20 million VR headsets. They've got many years of experience and refinement.
Judging by impressions the meta quest doesn’t come close to this
@@ralexand56 Meta has 9 million pixels
Vision Pro has 23 million
Not that much of a difference, and Meta has years of software refinement vs the brand new v1.0 Apple headset.
@@DerekDavis213 lol if you think that’s the only difference in these headsets then you are sadly mistaken. Have you not seen any of the impressions from people who have tried it. And the pixel difference is huge.
@@ralexand56 A 1440p monitor has 3.7 million pixels.
A 4k monitor has 8.3 million pixels.
I have used them both, and the difference is minimal. They both look very sharp. Same goes for headsets.
'Impressions' from people who have tried the headset are largely hard core fans, people who love all products made by Apple. Let's be honest here.
@@DerekDavis213 no the impressions are from those who review tech for a living. Your anecdotal view of monitors has nothing to do with this plus it’s much more than the difference in pixels. The pass through is much better, eye and hand tracking much better, os much better, audio better. I’m not even an Apple guy and I can see the quality difference.
Not enough Magic for me. Yes I can afford one, but no it’s too much for what it does. It’s just not worth the outrageous price.👎
I think people will rather just play Mixed Reality games on the Quest 3 instead of just interacting with flat windows 😂😂😂😂
Lol they made a case for it, that's $200... bro! $200 dollars I would buy many games and movies! For a case... What f. I will not buy this... But I hope I lot of corpos don't follow this.
giveaway sir
Apple Care is a scam. This will be my 6th VR headset and I’ve never dropped one. Skip Apple Care.
That said, I don’t have kids, so maybe if that is a factor. 😂
No youtube app on apple vision pro? Not buying that 💩
You can just use the website
I'm super bummed on this. Sounds like they're not even looking to build one either😑
