@@KellyBarlowCreations you can also use the dishwasher safe mod podge. Supposed to let it cure for 30 day before washing but you can wash it then. In Jenny's video she found permanent vinyl too! So keep eyes open that will make it more wash friendly! Yay I'm so happy Kelly tried this stuff out! I'm wanting for it to hit the website!!!

Yes!! You are so funny!! I love it!! I bought my Cricut about 6 years ago & haven't used it in probably 4!!! It's probably out of date for all the new stuff!! And my Dollar Tree never gets in any of this good stuff Kelly Barlow always finds! I wish they would!!
Their vinyl works great for bigger less intricate lettering and images, if you do smaller more intricate and thin wispy lettering, it snags on cuts, lifts on transfer and removal of the biggest pieces of the vinyls, like before weeding and doesn’t lay as well. But otherwise, it’s a great buy for basic images, test cuts, stencils and larger projects.
I think that you used about $.12 worth of product for that cup! It would cost about $.47 if you used Cricut or Siser products. I am so jealous!! I work at Dollar Tree, and we don't have the vinyl as of yet! Thank you so much, Kelly you are the best!
I don't have experience with Cricut's vinyl or transfer tape as I'm new and in using your tutorial last week, I made my first two Cricut projects using DT's vinyl and clear contact paper as transfer tape! The vinyl had kinks from being rolled, but with a little manipulation, I was able to make it work. The contact paper made for great transfer tape. DT's supplies are great for both beginners and experienced so I wouldn't hesitate to use them again! 💝

Low and behold; they had the vinyl, even the glitter. I purchaded 16 for my Cricut Machine. I also purchased the toilet plunger, we haven't had those in months.

Kelly, if too sticky on transfer paper try using a towel...place transfer paper on a few times so it won't be so sticky and won't peel up your paint also...great find,go to see if we have it in our dollar store,,😷😊

I believe the sales rep that are supposed to be working for that area not working with the main distribution centerline they should. Maybe a group of people need to get together a d start complain ing maybe even try to get intouch with the distribution center. That might work in getting in the products. Some sales representatives can be real lazy I know of a company that some of their sales representatives were very lazy and didn't do much but collect a check now that company is no more.
You are absolutely right I just got a cricket for Christmas from my awesome sister...then realized how expensive the accessories were and got a little disappointed. Thanks for the demo. They do have the scraper. The regular vinyl is removable and the glitter is permanent. I was soooo happy to get the vinyl and faux leather.
Hi Kelly unfortunately the DT that’s surrounding my areas in Atlanta never seems to have any of the items that can be used with a cricut. You guys that’s able to run across these crafters square items are so lucky. I have watched a few hauls and want you to know that I have seen on someone’s channel the scraper but it was the smallest one so it does exist good luck with finding one.
I picked up quite a few of these rolls of vinyl in different colors. I have a scan n cut 2 and had no problem cutting this vinyl on my machine. The quality is very good. I honestly could not tell the difference from my other expensive vinyl. The vinyl weeds very easy too. If you can get your hands on these rolls stock up because the one thing about Dollar Tree is the products they carry especially in the crafting section changes quite often. I saw the weeding tools a while back and never grabbed them and now I don't see them any more.

I have a new Cricut (still in the box) shhh lol and I did see that Dollar Tree was carrying vinyl, but until you gave it your approval, I didn’t know what to do. Today, I called one of our local Dollar Trees, and I scored!!! I immediately returned the vinyl I purchased from Walmart that was unopened because paying $5.95 for one, when I can buy 6 for the same price, I am soooo excited to get started now!!! I make baby shoes with faux leather that I buy on Amazon but I had to buy and try the faux leather from Dollars Tree . It is a little on the thin side but can’t wait to give it a try 🤗I have only found blue as well.
Went to the dollar tree right after watching this, and found silver glitter vinyl, not my favorite and, Can you believe it? The scaper's, yes, I know right? Thanks for sharing, and one more thing. 2 dollar trees in my neighborhood was completely out of all vinyl, transfer tape and faux leather. I'll try some other stores today.

I found a scraper yesterday at DT along with the picker tool, spatula, vinyl and transfer tape. I also found liquid etching glass stuff. Not sure if that is new but I haven't seen it before until yesterday.
You are so lucky with all your new finds I have several Dollar Trees in my area (2 are brand new) & my craft areas have not changed I haven’t seen anything new in over a year & even then it’s the same old supplies 😢
I love this, I still have not used mine! Being able to get these items less leaves more room for error without killing the pocket book. One of the things I've been concerned with trial an error.

KB have you heard of fuzzing? It is when you take chalk paste transfers and you add some fuzz by putting it on your t-shirt, towel,ECT. before putting it on a surface so it can come back off more easily! I think that could help the dollar tree transfer tape. IDK but you could try it! After all it's only a dollar I think we could make the dollar work for us! I love your videos I watch them all the time and you inspired me to get my cricut which I love!

Our seasonal decor section right now... Lordy. The beach stuff is REALLY pretty. Not all glittery. I went just a little nuts. I still can't figure out how to make a decent wreath and have no business buying even one more wreath form - BUT THEY HAVE A STAR FISH WREATH FORM! And an anchor!!

I HAVE to find this vinyl, leather at Dollartree. I know these things will go so fast. Kelly, you may of heard of this tip. Put some of your transfer tape on the back of the leather and put it on mat. Then your mat will not pick up the crud. Also I think Cricut transfer tape is rather sticky. I prefer the adhesive clear shelf paper from Walmart. It works best for me. Thanks again for letting us know about your “finds”.

So it looks like there is two types of transfer tape. I found the one you showed and another one that has the grid pattern like the brand name stuff. That one is 2 inches bigger at 12x38 and a smaller size at 5.5x38 not sure the quality?? but it feels more like the name brand.. plus I did find scrapers..

Just at our dollar store. They had the tools, Scraper . But NO vinyl.. :( hope they get it soon. I got a vinyl that covers books quite awhile ago.. I practiced with it. And it held up VERY well, I was surprised.Hope they get vinyl, and all the rest in.. thanks for showing..
Mine actually got all that stuff in. I didn’t get any of the vinyl because I don’t have a cricket. They had an end cap display and it was stripped bare in 2 days. I love Dollar Tree but get frustrated because you buy stuff and never know if they will get it back. I also get frustrated when I can’t get the items everyone shows. Love your craft ideas! I purchased many of these vinyl and I struggled the vinyl is not sticky and cutting smaller print uggy, if so larger block print it prints but have to work to get it to stay I place to put on transfer tape and I used DT liner been using for transfer tape and like , I made return my boxes due to frustration using, the cashier had even told me someone returned alot and I didn't think much since seen mixed reviews well guess I should of purchased less until tried bit figured if good didn't want to miss out. I used more pressure and normal . I will try different color and use less pressure and try the blue mat TFS glad u had good luck

You can wash the cups with the vinyl on it by hand it’s not dishwasher safe it gets too hot

Sometimes when the transfer tape is too sticky you can wipe it on your jeans real quick and the fibers keep it from sticking so tightly.
Yes and I usually reuse my transfer tape.

The white cottage u tube takes her transfer tape and run it over a peice of material or a chair or couch it helps take out some of the sticky.

I hope they come out with cutting mats next.
They have those tiny ones. Those are useful to have next to your desk for small jobs. They are easy to store as well

I bought contact paper at dollar tree, the clear, it works great as transfer paper.

Our seasonal decor section right now... Lordy. The beach stuff is REALLY pretty. Not all glittery. I went just a little nuts. I still can't figure out how to make a decent wreath and have no business buying even one more wreath form - BUT THEY HAVE A STAR FISH WREATH FORM! And an anchor!!

I HAVE to find this vinyl, leather at Dollartree. I know these things will go so fast. Kelly, you may of heard of this tip. Put some of your transfer tape on the back of the leather and put it on mat. Then your mat will not pick up the crud. Also I think Cricut transfer tape is rather sticky. I prefer the adhesive clear shelf paper from Walmart. It works best for me. Thanks again for letting us know about your “finds”.
It’s not worth it. Try one of you want but I find it highly inferior

I am so excited for the DT Cricut supplies.. I have found removable and permanent vinyl rolls.. plus HTV glitter single sheets. Haven’t seen the leather so keeping an eye out. Thanks for the heads up!!
So it looks like there is two types of transfer tape. I found the one you showed and another one that has the grid pattern like the brand name stuff. That one is 2 inches bigger at 12x38 and a smaller size at 5.5x38 not sure the quality?? but it feels more like the name brand.. plus I did find scrapers..
Oh my word I can't wait until we get that at our DT i just got a job offer at dt because I was so happy that I found the napkin rings and I was helping ppl in the store lol

Just at our dollar store. They had the tools, Scraper . But NO vinyl.. :( hope they get it soon. I got a vinyl that covers books quite awhile ago.. I practiced with it. And it held up VERY well, I was surprised.Hope they get vinyl, and all the rest in.. thanks for showing..
Mine actually got all that stuff in. I didn’t get any of the vinyl because I don’t have a cricket. They had an end cap display and it was stripped bare in 2 days. I love Dollar Tree but get frustrated because you buy stuff and never know if they will get it back. I also get frustrated when I can’t get the items everyone shows. Love your craft ideas! Thank you,❤ everyone gonna have a different outcome with that transfer tape. But it looked okay for you. I prefer that one over the contact paper from DT . The contact paper is not sticky enough. 🤷🏾♀️

I purchased many of these vinyl and I struggled the vinyl is not sticky and cutting smaller print uggy, if so larger block print it prints but have to work to get it to stay I place to put on transfer tape and I used DT liner been using for transfer tape and like , I made return my boxes due to frustration using, the cashier had even told me someone returned alot and I didn't think much since seen mixed reviews well guess I should of purchased less until tried bit figured if good didn't want to miss out. I used more pressure and normal . I will try different color and use less pressure and try the blue mat TFS glad u had good luck
