That 2 CV was probably my favourite car I ever used in VSTC. Shame I messed up on the last lap in both dirt races, but like you said, I had to go for it. Also I missed the checkpoint on the first lap on Broadway, which is why I just plummeted all the way down.
Syclones and Typhoons....if only I'd have known back then what I know now. It is funny to hear him talk about the truck being a large truck when it's actually so small. Especially by modern US standards.
Great races! The 2cv with the flat four from the Citroen GSA, as its specced here was Roger Moore's favourite all time car he ever drove in Bond movies. It drives like its on rails with rally tyres in FH4, but tops out at 100/110mph. I have much fun with it!
I know right? on one of the laps on Bamburgh, we resorted to Cody pushing me on the main straight. But honestly, apart from the woeful top end, it's pretty quick (I was outdragging Ish in his Mazda)
@@AlexeyBeganov it was great to see you putting It through its paces, big show in this sequence! I was amazed in FH4 how its cruised past stuff through its grip and light weight. I have a soft spot for those.. owned one, and a few BXs, and an XM. Big fan of the old Citroens. Might have a CX on the horizon.
I think the Cyclone might be the most ideal pickup. Not just because of performance, but because it doesn't have to be jacked up on big wheels and suspension to be good. Also, hate me if you must, I tend to call it a Ute.
I commented something similar on another YT'er about the Syclone and its SUV variant the Typhoon that it was one of the GM Wunderkinds that really raised a lot of eyebrows when they first hit the streets back in the day. I had a pretty nippy S13 and got absolutely murdered by a Typhoon one night doing light to light races. It certainly got my attention! I suspect the owner did this quite a lot with great relish, too. At least he was a good sport about his victory at the next light.
that corner on one track u called a 90 degree turn a hairpin was not a hairpin A hairpin turn (also hairpin bend, hairpin corner, etc.), named for its resemblance to a hairpin/bobby pin, is a bend in a road with a very acute inner angle, making it necessary for an oncoming vehicle to turn about 180° to continue on the road.
My lord that citroen roll lol good race. Is that forza aero up front? Probably a massive waste of PI in B class speeds tho. Weight reduction or front tire to reduce understeer would have been better.
Hey Alex, I usually wouldn't hate on one of your forza vids, but this one just has me a little sideswiped. the cyclone would have had good tires and power had you only went for handling first. knowing the cyclone from other similar games, you could've had rally tires with just over 350 horsepower, not to mention your under-steer problem could have been solved with a little bit of camber and downforce. Other than that, I think you usually do a solid job. Keep doin you man!
Vstc cars are very rarely built well, this syclone is no exception, keeping within restrictions the optimal build would have been as follows: Twin Turbos Race ignition Race exhaust Race pistons, valves and engine block Race turbos Full Weight reduction Front and rear anti-roll bars Sport gearbox Race driveline Race diff Max rear width on tyres 2nd lightest possible rims Rear aero
That may be the case normally, but you don't need all race performance pieces. A racing flywheel and intercooler integrated with sport performance parts would have worked just fine. 350 horses with a lightweight frame and rally suspension would have been fine, even on stock tires. I actually had an oddly built b class ram that had just over 300 horses on rally tires and suspension that absolutely ripped everything it went against apart. It had enough power with the race tranny that it would be good in the straights but also could corner without much issue with the stock engine.
That's a very slow build, too focused on grip while adding unnecessarily huge amounts of PI with useless upgrades on transmission, flywheel and intercooler components
@@ttr_coco dude, I don't know if you've ever tried a build like that, but it isn't slow, while it only tops out at 167 mph, it got up to 100 within 4 seconds while still being able to accelerate around a corner. I don't know how knowledgeable you are about vehicles, but it isn't all about top speed. Even something like a Chrysler concorde can be made to be quite the speed demon with only 200 horsepower. It set a solid 2 minutes and 36 seconds at my local circuit track
If you have a little S-10 pickup, that is heavy, understeers, and gets good forward bite on street tires, then someone put a crapload of weight in the bed.
Poor Chris hit that same wall you did but HARD! Ouch! So what happened in that next to last race on the final lap with the Citroen? Did it miss a checkpoint or what?
I wish my little Corolla was a better all round car, it seemed to have been decent on a more technical circuit, but it was bad in the straights... Like reaaaalllllyyyy bad Sorry dangerman on last race 😘
In terms of the tracks, it's pretty much the same, a rotation of 7-9 tracks used for FailRace vs The Community Team Adventures. The reason behind this is that the track creator in Forza Horizon 4 has very limited props available to use, so anyone wanting to build a track in FH4 couldn't use about half the signage and barriers that feature on the official Forza development team's tracks, which makes it quite hard.
I'd recommend any classic muscle car, they got powerful 300-400+ hp V8s and most of them are D/C class, and since at B class you're probably won't have more than 600-700+ hp the rwd isn't much a problem.
