Little heads up for the 2.0 Turbo Rally, that engines strength is torque. Keeping the car at consistently high RPM gives practically 0 power and really slows your car down, your best option is to shift at 5.5k rpm, next time it should be much quicker with longer gears to make use of the insane torque
That Charger is a seriously good car. I made one with a v8 once. Not much thought went into it just put it together rapidly. On the next race I chose it for fun. The next thing I notice is I gapped everyone on all 3 races

I love this style of content, where it's not just the youtuber that has some real skill, that all of the people you play with as well has some real skill and I love seeing people like Longbow and Ewan showing skill even when the camera is on Alex!

I've been throwing all kinds of setups at the Ferrari's since the winter season hit in-game, and outside of an interesting 458 drift machine, it's a bit hard to test a really mental/capable tire shredder for a few more days. More rear-based spring pressure, bump, rebound by 3-1 ratios at jack up the accel on the limited diff to 80%. Camber is where it's at though paired with lots of gear.
Been watching these for a while and I gotta say im impressed with the content, riving skill is clean, assist free and has huge variation, nice to see in online racing it must be said

29:44 althought not possible to see what happened to me there, it was actually a pretty peculiar (and glitchy) way of getting fu**ed by those pesky fences at the penultimate corner, launching my car a bit in the air making me lose control 😅 lost 3 places in the process and the will to fight to recover as well lol. Car was very powerful for a B class, it had 425 HP but in general was very average, didn't have any particular advantage if not in top end
The VW Double Cab is my very favorite model. Growing up in the 60s and 70s here in the States, there used to be a drag Double Cab that was a wheely car. It had an enormous supercharged V-8 in the bed and would pull wheelies at about 125 MPH (77-78 KPH) from the starting lights to nearly the runoff area at the end of the strip. If I were comfortably rich, I would find a couple of Double Cabs and restore them with Porsche engines, wheels, and suspension. Just dreaming here. OK, let us get on with the race.
Same controller problems as stated in the previous team adventure, and the lag problem was due to the fact i was having to use my hotspot to run the xbox off. Turns out hotspot with one bar of signal did cause many an internet issue. Other than that the merc was fantastic just got amazingly unlucky, controller problems and driving mistakes from me
Oh, this one. Okay, the Shelby Cobra. So, I did a dumb for this VsTC challenge. I was meant to pick a Maserati A6GCS that I, in my questionable wisdom, gave an identical livery to the Cobra. Instead of the car I built, I picked a stock car that I could barely drive without sliding everywhere. Hence, I was in my own world at the back contemplating life choices.
Not connected to this but... when rules are "German cars only", would "Vauxhalls" be submittable? After all they are just rebranded Opels (sold as "Vauxhalls" specifically in Britain). Just curious.
Thing is, in these team adventures we use what the game classifies the cars for each type so, in this case, if the game says that X car is from that country, then it'll be solely from said country

In my opinion, I feel like Vintage Race tires should be like...rally tires but with a little less grip. I mean, at least for me, thinking of vintage racing just brings up thoughts of dirt shirt tracks, especially in cars from the 40s and 50s in this game
Helloooo and WELcome TO the Spa Grand Priiiix ... ooh pardon me I have some cats in a box ... right, anywaaay, 10 laps in, Vettel is having an argument with his mechanics, Stroll is stuck on his head, and Hamilton is, well, being Hamilton at the front of this race.
Another one of these cars is not like the others - the old Chrysler Charger. A classic early-1970s Aussie muscle car. With a hotted-up Hemi 6-cylinder engine (265 ci/4.3 L). IIRC it actually once held the record as the fastest six in the world. Good to see it battling with the leading cars :)) What makes the Charger so remarkable is its 2 rivals of the day both ran V8s - the Ford Falcon GTHO Phase 3 (a 4-door sedan with a 351 ci/5.8 L Cleveland engine - once the fastest 4-door sedan in the world) and the (GM) Holden Monaro GTS (a 2-door with a 350 ci/5.7 L Chevy engine). Stories of the battles between these 3 beasts at Bathurst, Sandown etc. are the stuff of legends...
Love these races but really wish they were closer to real life. Face it a Shelby Cobra would never be at the back against these cars. Good choice Saber.

My DB5 was AWD swapped so was decent in the dirt races, not great on tarmac though but did have some good battles
