As a Peruvian, it is admirable and I take my hat off at Canada's soccer growth. Moreover, having 10+ players in its squad playing in Europe, it'd be a dream for most Peruvian fans like me. We are just going to rely on our experience playing the game vs three world champs (BRA, ARG, URU), and we'll go from there. It will not be a walk in the park for sure. May the best win (Perú!)
🇨🇦 will win mañana amigo!!!.. suck it up and very happy u don’t underestimate & highly respect our side , there, hahaha!! 🤣👉🏿… ¡glad u acknowledge our talent and I’m sure u wish Phonzy was 🇵🇪, the source of envy of my uncle chai-no ahí!!!.. ¡buena suerte mañana, mas éste juego se lo lleva 🇨🇦 papá!!! 😈
Canada simply have to go out and get a goal in the first half. This would be true without the heat, but with it.... This is not the match to worry about the opposition's counter attack. Our defense can handle what Peru offers there - gotta lean in and go get that goal. This is the game to go make your own destiny. Come on, boys!
I can't see any reason to not start Laryea and a whole lotta reasons to start him. The group's chemistry will not be significantly altered but Laryea will make a huge impact on the physical game.
Andi is right. BUT don't just hit the target more, but actually shoot more. Canada is not scoring because they're trying to walk the ball into the goal. How about peppering shots at the goal and look for rebounds and deflections?
They are tough & gritty, yes, but I think (strongly) there is a bit of a gap between our players & theirs!!!.. should be a good one & let’s bloody hope 🇨🇦 takes it, hahaha there mates!!! 😈
Memo to CMNT: Just score... And defend our goal with your lives... Peru knows how to play in the Copa... Just as we have the "dark arts of CONCACAF" at our disposal, Peru's playbook of CONMEBOL "dark arts" is much more sophisticated and time-tested-tough as tactics... Peru is gonna draw us into fouls, yellow cards (I wager we'll get 3 yellows), throw-ins, and lying on the pitch acting like they just got shot by .45 calibre... So we need to come out early, like we used to with Herdman, and get a quick goal... Then we sit back and defend the bullshit that Peru is gonna throw at us (flopping around on the pitch pretending they're dying)....
Not meaning this game only. But whenever soccer tournaments go on--The World Cup, the Copa, the Euros and there are 4 teams in each group. Obviously if a team wins 3 games they go through----What are all the other math combinations my mind cant do it lol----If you win 2 are you going through no matter what? What is the least a team can do and go through? eg Can they tie 2 and lose one and make it? or
In general: 2 wins is guaranteed advancement. One win and two losses is guaranteed elimination. 1 win and 2 ties is very favourable but not guaranteed. A win and a tie is favourable for advancement whereas 3 ties is favourable to elimination. It is possible to advance on 1 loss and two ties, but the loss needs to be tighter than the others' losses and/or the ties need to be high scoring matches. However, as Chile and Peru have already tied and Canada has already lost, the odds of Canada advancing with a win and a tie has improved, as neither Peru and Chile are likely to beat Argentina. Put another way, provided Argentina doesn't lose a match, Canada will advance with a win and a tie.
@@thewanderer8643 It was easier when a win was only 2 points. Actually, a small correction is needed to my comment. If all three teams lose to the same 4th team, and all other matches end in a tie, then it is possible to get through on 2 points. The key in that case would to be the team who lost the least while scoring the most goals against the 4th team. So for example, if Canada ties both Peru and Chile, and Argentina beats both Peru and Chile by 3 goals or more, Canada would advance on 2 points. The final table would end up 9 - 2 -2 -2 and Canada would have the best GD. In tonight's game against Argentina, Chile would do very well by losing by only 1 goal, and preferably while scoring at least 1 goal (like a 2-1 loss). For Canada, the best result without a win would be to tie both Peru and Chile in high-scoring games. Imagine 3-3 against Peru and 2-2 against Chile, while Peru and Chile both lose to Argentina 2-0 or 3-1. Canada would go through on 2 points. I will correct my first response for the benefit of others...
I wish North American analysis like Canadian or US would actually include analysis, such as formation analysis and sub analysis throughout the games they have played before. But all they do is cite points at a very high level. NO analysis at all... This is the worst Peru I have seen in 15 years and I still think Peru can win this game, specially after seeing them picking up confidence on the second half of the last game.
For sure Peru can win this match. The point is that Canada's ceiling is currently higher. But a higher ceiling doesn't mean one will win as Canada is not currently playing near their ceiling. They are a work in progress. The most likely outcome is a tie in my opinion.

110% provided he's sufficiently fit...
I totally Agree, Richie gives them more push ahead, and synergy, but most important scoring goals!

Peru is a tough team.
Peru finished 4th in the last Copa America
and 2nd in the Copa America before that.

Canada were CONCACAF nations league runners up
But Peru now is last in the qualifiers and has no goal ! couldl go either way

Very important point: against Latin American teams, you've gotta score first. Then the antics dry up.
Why do they have to be such rats?
Just on Argentina:
Messi
Mac Allister
Martinez
Martinez
Martinez
Paredes
De Paul
Romero
8 players that are better than Pulisic.
🤣👉🏿
Simple they should win
Moïse Bombito scores in the 89th minute to make it 2-1 to Canada 😅
¡Vamos 🇨🇦 c***jo.. sí se puede ahí!!!.. let’s crush 🇵🇪 tmrw plz!!!!🙏🏿🙏🏿🙏🏿.. 🇵🇪-🇨🇦 fan, here!! 😈
Concacaf has black arts what u mean they not used to it literally every game but the USA is like that
Obviously, they have to find a way to score.
Canada will win this game 3-1
