The more players you have playing in Europe the better the standards will get. You’re not going to improve as a player in the MLS which is probably equivalent to the Championship (2nd tier) in England.
They’re still one of the best teams in the world and always will be simply because they produce so many amazing players. The Germany game was a nightmare for them, but they were pretty average in that tournament and met a Germany team that was firing on all cylinders. Brazil let their heads drop and basically gave up trying once they were 3/4 nil down. Its not easy always being made the favourites and they’ve not always had the depth of quality you’d expect from them. Look at Germany, they too have had some woeful performances at recent tournaments, but do look good right now at the Euros where they’ve already qualified for the knockout stages after winning their first two games convincingly.

Cardoso with Betis (and hes a backup),Tillman, Aaronson, Richards, Pepi, CCV -- the list goes on.
