"thanks buddy" HAHAHAHA Ziigmund is the nuts
+Jackson Lenhart They are buddies, they started their poker careers playing with each other a lot.
Just remember that patrick and ilari were good friends in high school and that they learned each other poker so must be quite a bit of history between those two :D
Yes but ilari is broke, patrik is not 😂
antonius is such a great and respected player :) he doesnt talk bad or anything at all, respect :)
The power of the top pair! 🤣
Bring us one more patrik…
"I knew you had an 8 when you bet. That's why I raise." and both are cracking up.
on your bike son!
'i thought u had a flush draw, but just doesnt feel like it' - what a legend.
I'm always amazed how a move that would be considered donkish by an amateur suddenly becomes a well thought out play when a top pro does it (even if it is against Sahamies).
"Whatever happens, I played it like a set."
"On your bike son... a few laps"
Tony G is god.
This is the European version of exciting poker. That was the longest 7 minutes of my life.
Lol, anyone else get the joke "I played it like a set" at 3:25 when he points to Tony G and says "you know it." classic :D
is there a full video of this episode on youtube?
It's unbelievable, it's a very live hand, this hand. Ya know, "The Power of the Top Pair."
Who tf names their kid "PokerZen87"?
Is the whole game on youtube??
love zigg's knod to Tony G "I played it like a set!!"
This is one of the first videos on poker i have ever seen
ok
wierd seeing these 2 talk during a hand
I've seen some other hands since this one and it makes a little more sense now.
On the flop Antonius had 12 outs (don't forget someone had K8) for roughly 48% chance to hit one of his outs which he did (the 6). When the turn came, he now had 8 outs for roughly 16% chance but he didn't hit. I don't think he was that far behind and from what we can see, I think he was very short-stacked (compared to Sahamies at least) and he probably just gambled it.
Don’t forget…he was getting very good odds?
Huh…?!?!
I’m getting very good odds!!!
classic tony g. 'on your bike, son'. so classy.
does anyone have any videos of that other finland guy - the internet player?? alli seem to find are clips off e.g. full tilt - does anyone have more videos like this? i wanna see hwo good he is!! thanks
i approve of this video, it contains win
@sternumagnum Agree on that too, it's even commonly said when you need to release part of stress about a situation, not for the person.
Well done.
What cash game is this?
what kinda strategy is that limping 35o from the cutoff?^^
your right, plus there good friends, and they like to bluff each other
This is more talk then I've EVER heard out of Antonius
He played it like a set!
I was thinking the same thing. Lets get him!
Black is popular color in Finland. :)
@pawppy Agree fully.
I re-listened it 3 or 4 times and says that lol
what is yurr kiiickerr?
do you know wut a min-raise is? because there wasn't one in this hand.
@HDMGDH Yes, and he spoke Finland language.
thx buddy
yes he did :)
@jacosan antonious explains pretty much everyting about his tought proces in this video.. it makes sence against zigmund
He has 4 outs after flop, not 12. 5 outs, if you don't count the folded 8. After turn he has 11 outs and 23 percent, not 8 outs and 16 percent. However, on the turn he has many cards that will give him new draws, so he will still have about 26 percent to win after flop.
agree
@ 3:15 he says "I played it like a set" and he points at Tony G, had me in fucking hysterics hope i'm not the only one who noticed/understood that. Zigmund is the man :D.
I agree with you. Ilari's like, "Watch me, I'm so fucking cool". He's funny actually!
HE PLAYED IT LIKE A SET!!!!!!
Im sorry, have you not seen Antonius? He never folds.
The power of the toppair
he should have add "even i thought i had a set" lol
ziggi and tony at one table! nice...
I like how he turns to tony g "I played it like a set", nice comment
"i played it like a set" looool ziggy is definetly refering to tony g's classic line ;)
Why is that?
THE POWER OF THE TOPPAIR!!!
Tony G is the scourge of Poker
Barry Greenstien is the best cash game player of the last 10 years, it's a fact he has been voted by his peer's
was that a 15k min raise?
people often dont understand patrick he allways have to say the things twice- like me. he is a shy talker but he got the nuts in the pokergame
@cardcoursecom that strenght could be, in zigmunds case, also straight/flush draw and agianst them was PA favour, he knows that zig doesn't have a set so he can be drawing pretty death against 8/5 8/3 but he assumed, zig wouldnt play pf like that, so after little speech he "whatever" shoves.. zigmund is pretty sick to play any draw like that PA knows that
I bet they hated that situation... they are both Finnish but they had to speak English because they were on tv. :D :D
I give a lot of credit to Sweden. There is no Finnish pokershow featuring top Finnish players! But anyway professional poker isn't so hot here and I like it that way.
Gotta love Patrik. He did nice job at HSP season 4 too.
funny to see Zigmund here and then at the Hansen vs Johanssen vs Sahamies
I know I can see the cards but the guy with 2 pair was behaving beyond strong.
are those dollarbilla fake?
You don't get it, do you. Patrik puts Zig on a flushdraw, i.e. Jc6c, Ac7c. Even if Zig has two live overs (KcTc) Patrik is still about even money.
He doesn't give Zigmund an 8 or a set = he's drawing live in any other scenario. Finally -and probably most important- he has 15K+ in already and he wants to protect it.
If Antonius does anything wrong in this hand, it is the initial raise to 15K imo. I may be wrong, of course.
the power of the top pair!!! LMAO tony G so classic.
fair talking from IIari.
@pawppy Haha, I think he did.
seeeeeeeeegt. Fan va tråkigt. Ett klipp här och där skulle nog dra upp tempot. Poor mans highstakes poker.
"lol, meet patrick antonius"
lol
All these players surely buy their clothes from Tom of Finland . . .
4:26 antonius say "vaffanculo" hahahahaha
Little bit surprised Patrik called. But I think he can afford it. There is always a rebuy.
@HDMGDH yes, pronounced like Finns do
wtf was zigmund doing with 35 anyways from the beginning :D??? He is a huge super donk imo
i believe patricks final thought before deciding to go all in was "fuck it!".....*moves allin*
btw why do they speak english i thought they were both from finland
Lol, do you know who his opponent is? Antonius has known (and played against) Ilari for almost 10 years. They know each other's game really well. "Ziigmund" might've been pushing with a straight draw or a flush draw there. He's a pretty wild player.
HE PLAYED IT LIKE A SET, EVEN I THOUGHT HE HAD A SET
On your bike!!!
@ReallGeizzzzt Phil Hellmuth said that on WSOP 2008 :P. What's wrong with northern europe (I am from sweden) I think we got really good players from here :)
I don't know the exact order but with Antonius betting and the other guy still in, I don't like 98 in that position. Maybe Antonius was going with his odds or something of that nature. I'm sure there's something he saw.
Anyway...I want to watch more of this table. Very raw footage...everyone looks pissed and unshaven. Down and dirty Euro poker baby!
Ryssien dadaa hoplaa
i played it like a set
lol me and patrick antonius i lov e zig
I think, what u ment, was, that you have some other players in mind?
so THATS ZIIGMUND !!!! i always wondered who he was!!!
I think they are friends
Ilari said "lol" at 5:34? ... Lol :D and what else was he mumbling?
All nations have their "accents" when speaking English but even being Finnish myself, I find it hard to understand wha these two are saying.
4:26 VAFANCULO ahahah
+JonnyCUBA ! yes, good read! vaffanculo in italian means fuck off
i calculated the odds of winning with 2 pair here against any given hand:
Hand 0: 82.752%
Hand 1: 17.248%
as you can see it obvious who will win most cases here.
Oh and I mean that all in. It basically was a call from Patrik. At that point money was going in the middle anyway.
Watching it again 2 months later, I think this is a bad play. Ilari re-re-raised, would he really do that with a flush draw? Especially because Ilari must know that Patrik would have odds against a flush draw and call. I think Patrik just made a mistake.
"On your bike"
did he said "lol" at 5:34 ??? ;)
Yes, he did
so who won?... The best cash game player of the world or the best online player of the world? please PM me
at 4:26 he said "oh vaffanculo" mean oh shit in italian ahhaha
Kind of surprised tony g didnt call the clock
Easy fold. What is Antonius thinking?
Hehe, Sahamies seems like a tricky player. Making Patrik Antonious think you would bet and min reraise when u get raised with a flushdraw.
Moskovan valot ei ryypätä dalaa
Ilary will be playing high stakes poker season 5... GET READY :D
Taikasauva sinne ne meni mutta korjataan tilanne jossa on muutama pari
The scandinavians are fine players but their table chatter is strictly slumber party.
