Blast from the past! Some time ago, I stopped creating weekly supporter videos for viewers who were financially helping to keep the channel afloat. I'm slowly releasing a few of the more popular ones so you may have seen the much shorter version a few years ago. Enjoy! My apologies to any supporters who feel this is unfair as they had exclusive access to these videos in the past. However, ad revenue from TH-cam has dropped dramatically and as most of you know I refuse to do any affiliate marketing or accept sponsorship in exchange for promoting products.
Thanks. I haven't watched or ridden in a long time. Bought some timber property and am looking forward to building a couple miles of trails. This video reminds me that I should ride "sanely" instead of trying to test my 63 year old out of tune reflexes and new knee braces.
Thanks Pete! I hope all you Trail Fairies know that most riders, including myself, always take a moment to appreciate and silently thank those who have built the trails. I pitch in when I have the opportunity, but often I'm just an admiring rider who knows the effort trail blazing and maintenance requires.
The quiet achievers thats got to the best quote of the year I’ll grantee it will become a business slogan…!!! I’m truly grateful for your exceptional work these quite achievers do for our sport & enjoyment…!!!
Occasionally I'll take secateurs in the camelpack to tidy up our local single tracks. I didn't make the tracks so I don't modify them as such, just keep tidy what's already there.
It is perplexing how few riders will move an obstacle or cut a fallen log on a trail. They wait for what we call the “trail ambassadors” to clear it on a “work day”.
I try to carry a small saw to maintain the limited single track in my area, but some thing ill leave to add a new obstacle and break up the staleness of riding the same trails time and time again
shout out to the Nevada County Woods Riders - they do almost all of the heavy lifting for the trails around here - politics, working with forest service, trail, brush and tree clearing, and even closing/re-routing paths - just to name a few things. Countless hours and money spent so the rest of us can rip around obliviously.
Hats off to the fairy’s out there. Love finding new trails. I’ve been very curious as to the whereabouts of the bridge track and the track that goes under the culvert. I mainly ride over near the end of Raaen Rd and the ‘roller coaster’. How far off is it.
Possibly Qld's largest tree fairy is Lofty who makes trails in Amamoor 👌 A quietly spoken giant of a man who loves nothing more than to get out and cut in new amazing tracks 👌 Legend doesn't seem to cover the work he has done
I have been looking at solutions for carrying my chainsaw on my motorcycle. I'm not sure if its is better to mount it to the bike or to wear it on my back? I imagine having it on the bike is safer in the event of a crash but I have always preferred to keep junk off my bike and only bring what I can carry in a backpack.
Loves me dem track fairies and the actual Black Sabbath! Beauty! Screw the complainers. They should be forced to fix the thing they complained about, but too often, the complainers would have no idea how to do so. Meh. Bless the gods 'n fairies who build the tracks without fanfare. You ARE loved.
That Pete guy does some nice work but teeters on the edge of being sadistic! I'll bet some of the more sketchy stuff was quite tame when new but changed as the water spinning tires reshaped the terrain. Still I'll agree he is quite the fairy...and I haven't even seen if he wears women's panties or not! 😅 Reference to the trails I cut and maintain are usually used in a sentence like, "That's a pretty nasty and tight trail but it's not as bad as Dave's." As long as they call me a fairy, I'm good. 😆

I bought a farm n I’ve got 20 klms of track so far, it’s only 100 acres so I’ve had no snake the tracks around eachother but hell it’s fun…..
We’d rather have you in the game than not at all… all’s fair in love and creation. 🦾
@ cheers mate
That was just ONE of the best tunes from Sabbath...when performed by Black Sabbath.
Kudos to all the Trail Fairies for their selfless work. xox
So many great songs. Wait until you hear me butcher Midnight Oil's 'Beds are Burning' soon. 😂
I love to make and work on trails at a property.
Id say give this creator more likes cuz it takes a lot of hard work to create these videos
Appreciated. I've always made a point of not insisting viewers 'like and subscribe' in each video. Drives me crazy when other creators do it.
Awesome trails!
That trail was amazing! Thanks for posting!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Glasshouse Mountains awesome
Even if you do one or 2 things on a ride it all adds up
Shout out to Boise Ridge Riders in Idaho, USA.

I’d like to meet this Pete. This layout is sick
Please play Ozzy and Black Sabbath whatever fee you need to when sampling their songs. Don't know if my ears can handle that rendition again.
🤣
@@crosstrainingenduro Did the guy with the guitar on this video finally die during that "performance"? Sounded like it.
Rock On Barry!!!
Yes sir!

Great bumper sticker, t-shirt idea....."Support ya local trail fairy!!"
I like it!
I see you are using the Clake clutch lever. 👍👍Just watch you dont melt the Magura hydraulic line on a hot exhaust like I did.
Older riders...
Injuries piled up. Already went plenty fast.
Ridden enough that it's fun to do something different.

One of our local club leaders needs to hear the part at 4:10.

I suspect at least half our guys wear women's undergarments, Dave. But I'm not keen to confirm lol!
@@crosstrainingenduro I have always preferred a Lycra thong and bra underneath my riding gear.
I noticed a "different" clutch lever. What is about? Thanks
Clake one light clutch
Clake One Light clutch. See our vid.
