The best "cheap" fuzz pedal I have is the Keeley Fuzz Bender. To me it has more range than the FZ-1W, and doesn't have the buffer annoyance. In fact it doesn't care where it's put in the chain really.

Maybe I missed it in the video, but could you explain what equipment you used in this video? Guitar, amp, speaker, mic or directly into the interface? It sounds so incredibly good, I could listen to this exact sound for days.
What is that freaking neck? OMG, been looking for something for a parts caster like that, & the playing with off the hook by the way, such soul. It's the neck dot inlays I can't seem to find like that or I would make my own, very nice work & tone.

Does your gain knob sound scratchy around the 2 o'clock mark? When ibrotate mine regardless of its in vintage or modern mode I hear potentiometer scratching that's audible through my amp
Does sound really good. Starting to hate your channel…you are too GOOD at selling Fuzz!!!!!! Definitely, like how you dial in Fuzz in general, and this could be a great alternative to a Fuzzface? It has the midrange squish and tear that I really like. They are a little pricey at the moment on Reverb? Still, it’s cheaper than a Berkos Third Stone.

Don't think it's a parts caster. Just a nice strat. May be a custom shop relic.
Nope, it's a partscaster. Consisting of Fender and Rebelrelic parts. The neck is Rebelrelic, James!
