- A former on-air DJ for "The Ellen Degeneres Show," Tony Okungbowa, is addressing recent toxic work environment allegations. Okungbowa, who worked on the show for 11 years, spoke out about what it was like to work closely with Ellen. "While I am grateful for the opportunity it afforded me, I did experience and feel the toxicity of the environment,” Okungbowa wrote on Instagram. As dozens of former staffers line up to tell their Ellen horror stories, celebrities are coming to her defense. #InsideEdition

No one should ever have to tolerate working in a toxic environment. One thing I know from personal experience is that toxic manipulative managers cannot get away with abusing their powers, setting employees up to fail, and condoning unfair racist, sexist, discriminatory practices towards certain individuals in the workplace. It may not happen right away, but in due time, karma will surely deal with these toxic managers/supervisors. I have seen it firsthand.
My heart goes out to the former (and any current) employees who experienced this mess.
I've also dealt with a toxic work environment, & it was the most stressful experience of my life. No one should EVER have to endure such horrid working conditions, & I also believe Karma has a way of getting even with bosses who encourage this type of atmosphere in the workplace.
Of course celebrities will stand with Ellen and of course they’d experience nothing but respect, ridiculous!

Of course she will treat A-list celebrities perfectly. A family friend of mine used to work for her and told us about this toxic environment 2 years ago, I completely believe the stories of her employees.

Agree. The lack of empathy coming from Ellen is obvious in the way she treats her guests. Ellen practices altruism publicly as a way to gain favor from other well-meaning souls like Oprah, Barack Obama, etc. But at the end of the day Ellen is still married to Portia de Rosie, and that says a lot about the real Ellen.

I’ve worked for Ellen for 4 years until I resigned. We shouldn’t look at her in the eyes. My colleagues and I always thought she was evil and had to be some reason to not make eye contact. She is scary and I prayed for her. One day I arrived early to work, as I walked in through security I saw her and asked a simple question and she just looked at me with hate. She didn’t say anything. A week had past and I realized they were going to replaced me so I resigned. I won and wouldn’t ever work for her again.
She’s nice to all the celebrities and treats her employees like 💩. Always be unkind to certain ppl is her motto 😂

I agree it isnt the healthiest or most natural of foods, but nobody blackmails or forcefully makes anyone go into a McDonalds and buy the food, and eat every single thing they buy. Just because one customer has high LDL(bad cholesterol) doesn't mean all of the customers alao have the same.
If you have health issues that high sodium and unhealthy other foods make worse, why would you pick a $7 McDonalds combo over a large $4 salad, $2 for a side of vegetables, and a $1 SMALL bag of chips from WalMart Deli in the first place? Or if you have high cholestoral, why would you get a Big Mac & Large Fry from McDonalds instead of spending about the same amount of money and buying a pound of 97% lean ground chuck and a fruit parfait or salad and make 2 healthier Macs at home.
How is any of this McDonald's fault?
Just because someone else's body & metabolism cannot handle McDonalds doesnt mean I have the exact same health ailments. Just because I can gain 5 pounds just by looking at a pizza buffet doesn't mean someone with a much higher metabolism cannot have also have pizza.
Just because diabetics have to watch how much soda they consume doesn't mean everyone else's body will also develop diabetes from having a 32oz cup of Cola vs a 12 oz cup(which all it takes is 2 refills to consume more than the one 32 oz cup holds)
