one of if not the most underappreciated rock bands of all time.. one day Mike & Johnny and the rest of Social D will get the Recognition and Respect they deserve.
When I hear the word rock n roll the first thing I think of is social d. I love their earlier punk stuff, but they’re so much more than a punk band to me. They’re a true rock n roll band.
Social Distortion has carried me through all the darkest days of my life. I love this band. Mike Ness is my rock n roll hero. I've been a fan since I was 15. I'm 32 now. Thank you so much for all of your music.
190 people gave this a thumbs down... I think we should go relieve them all of their thumbs! THIS is what rock-n-roll should sound like. Edit: Strange, one year after I made this comment the thumbs down number is 147. Maybe they thought we were really coming for their thumbs!
Nothing tops this. Nothing. This music has heart and soul. Beats any of that intentionally alternative nonsense from the 90's . . . the 2000's . . . and current. This is Social Distortion. Timeless music.
@@Lesbri4me Probably because he had no good equipment then. Now he could go out and get any guitar and amp he wants, back then he just had whatever he could get.

Just heard the last few chords recently on a Swiss internet radio station and luckily was able to read the band's name on the display before it disappeared. Wow! That's the way rock music goes. Straight, pure, 100% live. Fantastic! One background singer looks and moves like early Tina T.
Id never listened to these guys 20yrs ago bcuz I thought they were a gimmick. I couldn't have been more wrong. Even more than that I can't get enough of these guys and the "Ness" tone. Great great band and an awesome listen!

Amen!!! His spirit is all over this jam
Props to the ladies doing the backup vocals. They add a lot.
So good right and I love how you can tell they were getting into it.
They nailed it...
So right they’re smokin 😍
They are what makes this live version actually better than the album version, where the background vocals aren't as prominent.
And I dig how Mike gives them props - I’m sure there would have been more had the video gone longer

My thoughts exactly. I have this album on Vinyl and sound for sound you can hardly notice any difference. Great song and record
Mike has the best tone EVER. There's no arguing about it. It's simply a fact.
