The only hip hop I listen to is Tom MacDonald and it's been a awesome year for him. I could care less about the rest of those artist, especially Eminem! Eminem lost me when he said "if you voted for Trump, I don't want you as a fan." So I went from a super fan since the first time I heard my neighbor blasting 🎼🎶"two trailer Park girls go round the outside, round the outside" 🎶🎼 to where I will not listen to anything old or new of his. I will actually yell at my Alexa if she throws him in my mix of music and tell her to " skip that shit! "... I had already discovered Tom MacDonald before Em said that BS, so it was very easy for me to give him up anyway. And I figure I'll get back lash for saying this from Eminem fans but I really don't care. As far as I'm concerned any artist that told their fans to vote for Biden or Harris can't give a shit about their fans anyway bc we all saw and lived the disaster of the past 4 years and most normal Americans knew that there was no way that we could continue down the same path and survive. Those artist didn't give a shit bc it didn't effect them bc they live in nice big mansions with 10ft fencing around it and they don't keep up with how much gas, eggs and other necessities cost. I love the fact that all of these artists and movie stars said vote blue and most Americans pretty much flipped them the bird and let them know that we're patriotic Americans who love America and that comes before any love that we have for any star. They don't have the influence over their fans that they think they have bc when it comes down to it Americans are smart enough to know that those celebrities don't know you, will never know you and could give a shit less about you.

2nd comment(I may be making several so I'm labeling them lol) I was raised Jewish by my adoptive mom. In Judaism they have this thing called a "golem", which is a cautionary tale meant to prevent other Jews from making the same mistake. Essentially the golem is a clay husk, animated and brought to "life". This clay being does the work and bidding of whoever awakened it. But over time it realizes what it is, and attacks the one who made it. The golem is a metaphor, usually for forms of manipulation. Lies eventually come uncovered. Drakes false appearance he used to grow in hiphop is his golem. It's finally coming to bite him in the ass. He made this image, now he's gonna be held accountable because of it.
As a fan for me, this was the best year that I have had for hip-hop since the Aftermath/Shady/G-unit dynasty. I love that NWA family tree and West Coast hip-hop and to have one year were so many artists that I love put out albums was great. Kendrick Lamar, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg, Tha Dogg Pound, Eminem , Eastsidaz , RBX , Schoolboy Q, KXNG Crooked and Joell Ortiz, and Ice Cube all dropped great albums. For me as a fan 2024 was the best year for the music since the mid 2000’s. I have never been down with Diddy or Drake and thank god. I can proudly say I never bought any of their albums, I never wore a T-shirt with their faces on it. I always thought they were fake AF. So it was a bad year for them, but maybe they should make better life choices. Joe needs to think things out before he says them.
Meghan dropped "Hiss" and we have been off and running ever since. Getting tired of the narrative that hip-hop is dying when the women are holding it down.
Worst year in hip hop the hell? So many outstanding tracks have been released this year. Knox and in my opinion your music and rens music is at the top of the podium of those tracks. Keep up the work man I'm an aspiring artist and you and ren are both an inspiration for me.
Might have been a bad year for Joe....buuuuut, I know a few people who did pretty damn well this year...*cough cough --- YOU--REN--CHRIS WEBBY--SAM TOMPKINS--JON BELLION--EMINEM---cough* Sorry, long cough attack! There's PLENTY MORE! ❤🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
If I was once the talk of the culture in an admiral way for over a decade, then lost in a battle overwhelmingly, then dropped 100 gigs attempting to regain traction and nobody cared or will ever view me as they once did, I'd think it was a "weird year" too 😞
This was a good year for Hip Hop. Tyler dropped. Future dropped. School boy dropped. Glorilla dropped. J, Cole dropped.Eminem dropped. 21 Savage dropped. Benny the Butcher. Vince staples. Freddie Gibbs. And we had one of the greatest rap battles of all time. And Kendrick dropped on a random Friday.
Just to add a few more who dropped: Redman Nas Snoop/Dre Ice Cube Mc Lyte LL Cool J And let’s not forget ….. Eminem!!!!! But nobody dropped this year 😂😂😂😂😂
Was a great year for hip-hop, arguably the best of the 2020's so far (2022 might edge it), but lots of great projects from a wide mix of artist with different styles. It really was the year of TDE with all the drops that they actually came through with. Especially Doechii with my favorite project this year. Tons of great stuff from Kendrick, Vince, Cole, my favorite project from Cordae, Lupe, Q, Soul, Gibbs, Snoop & Dre, Tyler, Meg, Em, Glo, Nicki... it's a long list this year. 2025 has a tough act to follow.
Worst year? Shiii I've never been happier to be a Hip Hop fan this year! It was getting a little samey but Kdot, Snoop, Tyler hell even ICE CUBE and Childish Gambino, Em and Lupe Fiasco dropped this year! He's BUGGIN LMAO
Hey Knox. Let me start by saying you seemed to have a great year. I have questions tho. Have you ever reacted to XXXtentacion content?? I'm specifically talking about songs like 'Jocelyn Flores' and music videos for songs like 'Look at Me'?? Would love to see reacts to XXXtentacion content. If he were still alive, I believe he would've been dropping with KDOT when it came to anti-drake songs. Rip X. Rip Juice. I'm glad hip hop is still treating us well after their untimely deaths. Day 1 of asking
It’s easier for them to say this year sucks in hip hop when they really mean it suck because you didn’t drop a banger but you dropped a lawsuit killed the whole vibe but yeah hip hop sucks

I was raised Jewish by my adoptive mom.
The death of Slim Shady, GNX, Kendrick vs Drake, J Cole, Sza, LL.Cool J, brother wtf do you want more
Year of the beef: drizzy v kdot, benzino v em, knox v scru
There are so much albums this year who recovered hiphop in my opinion, look at Em, Kendrick, Tyler, Cordae, LL, J.Cole and even more great artists
As an old head this has been a great year for hip hop, but I've also enjoyed a lot of the newer generation like you highlighted
preach, knox! PREACH!!! booooooyyyy… thank you for your voice of reason and truth, uplifting the culture ✌️❤
Hell Knox hill dropped a sic album this year!!
Thank you for this video it's important to put everything into perspective at the end of the year
Dude, you keep putting out solid content..... Appreciated
2024 has so many albums I’ll be listening to for a long time been awhile since we had so many great projects in one year
Meghan dropped "Hiss" and we have been off and running ever since. Getting tired of the narrative that hip-hop is dying when the women are holding it down.
Dont forget Redman just dropped too. Honourable mentions for Don Trip, 38 Spesh, Benny the Butcher & Ransom to name a few 🔥
I'm excited for hip hop again too! Even my Gen A child has started asking about hip hop and checking out what is appropriate.
Thank you for this Knox. Expose these foos!
You forgot about LL he also dropped a project this year. One of my favorite songs this year was off that album ft Em ( Murdergram Deux)
Worst year in hip hop the hell? So many outstanding tracks have been released this year. Knox and in my opinion your music and rens music is at the top of the podium of those tracks. Keep up the work man I'm an aspiring artist and you and ren are both an inspiration for me.
Fancy meeting you here 🔥🔥
He’s on nobody top 200
Might have been a bad year for Joe....buuuuut, I know a few people who did pretty damn well this year...*cough cough --- YOU--REN--CHRIS WEBBY--SAM TOMPKINS--JON BELLION--EMINEM---cough* Sorry, long cough attack! There's PLENTY MORE! ❤🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
I discovered KnoxHill in 2024, so there's that too
If I was once the talk of the culture in an admiral way for over a decade, then lost in a battle overwhelmingly, then dropped 100 gigs attempting to regain traction and nobody cared or will ever view me as they once did, I'd think it was a "weird year" too 😞
This was a good year for Hip Hop. Tyler dropped. Future dropped. School boy dropped. Glorilla dropped. J, Cole dropped.Eminem dropped. 21 Savage dropped. Benny the Butcher. Vince staples. Freddie Gibbs. And we had one of the greatest rap battles of all time. And Kendrick dropped on a random Friday.
Just to add a few more who dropped:
Redman
Nas
Snoop/Dre
Ice Cube
Mc Lyte
LL Cool J
And let’s not forget …..
Eminem!!!!!
But nobody dropped this year 😂😂😂😂😂
Eminem,Rakim,Tha dogg pound,Kendrick,Tyler,Redman,LL Cool J,Snoop and Dre,EastsidaZ,Ice Cube etc…
Overall what a year
1:17 been totaly unfamiliar with that WHAT 🤣
wasn't expecting Max Fosh to feature in Knox's video anytime soon 😂😂
Great video! And wait, are you from PG?
Damn right
Redman dropped too which was 🔥
This was a great year for hip hop... Even without the beef(s) so many dope artist dropped great projects this year.
Drake has never been so mumbly and sad on live cam before.
