And she forgives frisk after the fight because 1) she believes it was mettaton pulling the strings, and 2) frisk agrees to reset to the beginning and complete the good ending, thus reversing any bad frisk has done. I could be wrong, but that’s my understanding of this. I’m just glad one of these sans au fights has a good ending.

Someone really needs to fix the dialogue. I get that English isn't the creator's first language, but it's hard to follow everything that's happening. I think I get the jist of it, but only from context clues.

You have to beat the game once (beat all of the phases), then wait till the credits end and go back to the menu, start a new save file and during the opening dialogue, you'll get two options "Do nothing" and "Interrupt Chara". Select the interrupt option and the true ending will start. The true ending might start immediately during the opening dialogue if it's your first attempt after killing Chara. It doesn't happen in the video because I failed the first time and had to come back, and the video is my second attempt so the options appear.
