They were already pretty popular, I already have a ridiculously cheap(in a good way) case from them before the sanctions. I was thinking about buying from them right before the news of their sanctions in the US market.
I work at a PC repair store that also sells PC components and last year we started selling Deepcool components and I have to say they have a pretty good Price/Quality ration. Their coolers and PCs cases are great and very good midrange alternatives to more expensive brands like Be Quiet or Lian Li. Deepcool was a very welcomed addition to the PC market!
If DeepCool could exist in Germany but not in US, the problem is certainly not quality. Germany, as part of EU, has a stricter quality standards, it's basically a benchmark whether a product is quality or not.

a big problem about this is that even if I'm not from USA, I live in latam but everyone here (except countries that have a decent pc market on their countries like mexico, argentina, Peru, chile) we import components from USA stores amazon because here the price of components cost 2 or 3 times more than in other countries (well... everything here cost much more than in first world countries... even when our salary is like 3-4 times less than those countries...)

The last thing i remember on transparant pc were fans (i have one and it look great and noisy) , a mousse that have rgb too , and most lian li case But thats all , and i realy wich we could buy a transparant gpu to see the inside while the transparant part is rgb , or a monitor to we can see whats inside , or a keyboard , or even an aio watercooling (to see the liquid inside) and to see the cpu Also rams and ssd cooler Sadly , thoses lost theirs customers cause that kind of transparent material isnt realy effective

I have an old pc that used to run Windows 98 in my basement, and it has transparent plastic over the motor of its fan, just like this cooler and you are able to see the coils inside

DeepCool violated U.S. sanctions against Russia, selling to various entities inside of Russia after the start of the the Ukraine War - one of the few consequences that the State Department can bring against companies outside the United States that violate sanctions is to prevent the import of product from those companies into the United States, an absolutely monsterous market for any tech company. I get the clickbait reason for calling it "illegal", but given all of the disinformation out there about Russia and the Ukraine War, accuracy in discussion of this sensitive topic might warrant priority. I put a DEEP COOL AK620 in the machine I built in July of '23. It's FANTASTIC!!! I cleaned off the pre-applied thermal solution and replaced it with Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut liquid metal. It cools like a CHAMP. They need to get their shit together and get back in the U.S. market.
Well I do have a question :), the an400 -is it better than the noctua l9x65 as it has a tdp of 150 whereas the noctua (which is larger) only has a tdp of 83? (This is for a build with the 13700k in the xworks x32 case) 😊

I miss Deepcool, they were great for fans. I used one for my brother's PC I built for him like a good 2 years ago and it works like a beauty. I been looking to see if I could get another one for a new build I wanted to do for an mATX case and sad I can't get it unless I was out of country.

All speculation (except the great hardware, I really do own it!) As far as "illegal" goes, I have a DeepCool CPU cooler on a 2500k that says "Intel Confidential", and another brand of cooler on a 7700k that also says "Intel Confidential". Both CPUs were purchased as "N.I.B." on eBay.

i use deepcool ag400 dual fans and its lower my cpu temps more than 20c compared to the stock cooler (i3 12100f) when i played apex legends the temps will go up to 80-85c with stock cooler but when i use ag400 the temps only goes up to 55-58c
