I took one of these out for a test ride back in 1985 and all I can say is it is an insane bike for its time. When the turbo spooled up, you had to really hang on. Sadly, I didn't buy it because I bought a new pickup instead, But I never forgot the power of that bike.

A good friend of mine RIP Tony had one of these. He was kind enough to let me ride it now and then. Thing was nuts when the turbo kicked in. And it was like a holy shit switch when at WOT. Remember it had a limiting circuit on the ECM but all you had to do was interrupt a single wire fron its ECM and it was in tace mode. Vary cool skoot.
Sorry man I can't help but say again how cool this bike is. The feeling I got when pulling up next to someone and as the turbo whistles out my favorite tune. And the guy looks at you like WTF.
I purchased new a gpz1100 then the 750 turbo and then the 900 ninja i traded up as the new model came out i was on a speed fix back then . All were purchased from town and country in sussex nj back in the day .That turbo was an animal so fast would wheelie when boost would come on.
