Please continue posting about double sword. i love your didatic and the subtittle to english helps alot. Your videos are great. Best regards from Brazil
This type of sword is called 'Hwando' in Korean. Single sword and twin swords are basically same only the length is different. Twin swords usually use smaller size ones.
What would be the difference in using these and chisa katana's? Specifically since the chisa has a full double handed katana grip. Would it get in the way of these movements?
This is perfect. A really great explanation and breaking it down to make it understandable. Really gifted in teaching and i would love more of this or a training course with this teaching style. It has helped me a lot to improve my coordination. Thank you.
As you thank us for watching we should be thanking you for posting your form and techniques are fluid powerful and full of discipline you are a true legend
Thank you for posting beginner exercises for ssang gum! I will post your videos on the Facebook Korean sword group page to get the word out. For those interested there are several English translations of the entire Korean Muye Dobo Tongji - including scroll 3 for the ssang gum form. Jack Chen at Chinese Longsword offers a translation of the 3rd scroll separately.
Hi there! My regards for this great channel! I was browsing the internet in aim to find begginers tutorial for learn double swords when I founds this. Keep going ! :)
Amazing techniques. Would love to see more since I'm a korean martial arts practitioner and we don't have yet twin/dual swords techniques. I'm curious about the drawing of this dual blades, some unseathing moves, if you have the chance to show us!
Implementing the cross leg of southern Chinese king fu would allow a more fluid movement and lower attack’s... your class is good to see... thank you...
Do you sell a dvd for the Twin Swords Head Strike and the Ssanggeom#2 Twin Swords Double Upward Slash the basics and to continue to advance? If you can you please give me a link to the dvd?
The sword handles keep hitting each other when I try crossing them over. My swings are also almost horizontal instead of vertical. It feels terrible. What am I doing wrong?
It feels unnatural to spin this way 😅 but I think i can make it work. Also I'm using a longer heavier bokens and maybe that's a problem as well. Thank you
Not sure if both swords doing the same movement at the same time is all that productive, seems to defeat the purpose of using two swords, would be like a boxer throwing two punches with each fist at once. And again some awful false times here.
You are such an excellent and explanative teacher! I and many others would enjoy if you continued this series heavily.
