Actually, this video reminded me of two exact things that I completely forgot about: 1) the Soundpaint's freebies that I still haven't downloaded yet and 2) the Soundpaint's affordable hybrid cinematic stuff. Man! Where was I? lol Thanks Dom :)))
Thanks for this video, just a suggestion, I'd love to see more Zero-G libraries featured here, especially those produced by Stefano Maccarelli like Elements Kepler and the Ethera Gold series. They're outstanding, Dom, and are a great value for money!
I like the Kontakt Pandora and the Gravity libraries, thank you Dom for sharing this with us ! Yes, I would love to see a video of 1 hour if you show us how you search, record and build your own sounds to create your own libraries from scratch : a muscian sound designer. Searching on internet or searching in real life sounds, recording them with a microphone and building them in your studio.
more videos like this even a 2-hour long video would be great. i dont usually have the patience for anything longer than 1 hour but yours i am willing to devote the entire 2 hours.
THANK - YOU so freaking much for opening minds & eyes living under rock for a decades.... A BASS exploration video will be a much loved one if time permits Dom..... {Bass ranging from Acoustic > Synth > Hybrid . Electric > Flat wound > Roun dwound & What not ! } YOU ROCK Dom... ! Much Love - Rezi :}
Great video as always! As you mentioned, these kinds of sounds are not easy to create with samples. That’s why you should ask Yamaha to bring back the VL-1 physical modeling synth engine and make it available on both the Montage and Cubase! It’s 2024, and there is still no proper hardware physical modeling synth on the market. The best you can find are Yamaha synths from the 90s. If Yamaha revives VL-1 physical modeling, you will be able to develop this kind of movie soundtrack sound libraries for the Montage and Cubase using the new AN-X and VL-1 synth engines. But there are software physical modeling synths! Almost all that I saw are not something special, until this year when Dr Mix at NAMM presented some guys with their physical modeling VST. It sounds awesome, but it is so expensive and in addition they have separate versions for strings, brass, woodwinds, etc., that if you buy a few of them, you could get a new Yamaha Montage M for the same money, as each costs more than 1.000€. On the other hand, with the Yamaha VL-1 you could create almost any kind of sound: strings, woodwinds, brass, plucked, and even some percussive sounds. Finally, you know this better than I do, as you presented both the VP-1 and VL-1 synths about a year ago. :)
You could do 30 full-length videos on the Soundpaint and 8DIO libraries alone. So amazingly well-thought-out, produced, and best of all, GREAT sounding and amazingly affordable.
Dom, I think a great video would be on what you mentioned about using some sound as inspiration for creating your own sounds. So, feel free to go in depth on using sounds and creating new ones, using existing samples or creating your own. Thanks!
Yes, Symphonic Destruction is fantastic. Likewise Gravity 2; HOWEVER, Gravity 2 is waaaay overpriced compared to the Hybrid Cinematic series by Soundpaint. For less than the price of Gravity 2, you can own the entire Hybrid Cinematic library. PLUS, the FREE Soundpaint engine is heads and shoulders above Kontakt in all respects.
Hey dom your videos are such a blessing for cubase users 🙌 Controlling plugins function by Using midi controller is a nice tool but there is no video about that can you teach us how to do that
Thank you, Dom! What about license with these libraries? Are they cleared to use them in movies? Alos, I've been wondering, how do you report to your client about what you used in your music for a film? Because, you probably know, royalty-free doesn't grant a blanket sync license.
Does Soundpain work as a separate VST instrument like Halion or any 3rd party synth for example? I mean I downloaded and installed it with your free presets but I cannot see the instrument anywhere in Cubase. Thanks for help
To be honest...with enough musical fantasy and Cubase/Halion/GrooveAgent you do not need all of this...(It's nice to have, but you might as well start using Delay Lama...)
Haha... you're right! I made that comment before watching the video anticipating he was going to demo something from Free Orchestra but failed to come back and edit my comment. Thanks for the catch! Edited!
Isn't the time of that big braams, hits, risers, downers, ... already over because it was seriously overdone for some time several years ago? I remember nearly every week a new library of that kind came out. I also bought some ... most of them now just eat up disk space on my DAW and are mostly unused.
sounds are more powerfull than yur actions better eat omlletes before acting on them .. yu wil look mo realistic .. also try playing all live on stage then..i get such kik from beatin someone black n blu
yu are gd actr and actin like yu made those sounds .. we are jus end users dear bro give credirt to creators name them aftr every sound ..u look like poor brother of yanni ..n so big monitor are yu so fond o netflix
Just noticed that Dom's Tshirt is the orchestra's sitting arrangement.
Dope much. Thanks for the video also.
No matter how long your videos are, I will always watch them. Go ahead and dive deeper!
My mom said that if I get at least 5 likes, she will buy me 3 libs of these...
@@rogercabo5545 did she?
I can't wait
Edit: I didn't know you could sing like that 🤯🤯

Soundpaint with the Hybrid libraries is by far the best bang for the buck. BY FAR!!!!
Part 2 would be nice with maybe a few more freebies for those of us on a budget, if possible. Please and thank you, Dom!

(0:03) These epic fist pumps and camera shakes are definitely worthy of a 👍 and comment. 😁
Keep up the great content as always, Dom! 👊😂

Yes part 2 please!! Elements Kepler by zero g.
I'll gladly watch any length video you put out Dom!
Damn!
Thank you so much for all your work, Dom. Always bringing the best tools for all the musicians out there
Nice Dom Zimmer 🤟🏼

Loved the choir at the end. Great!

I would watch a 2 hour video even at work!
A superb watch, apart from way too many ads! That last library was beautiful!
The best money I spend is TH-cam Premium. No ads. The downside is, without annoying ads, you spend too much time enjoying vids like this. :/
Thanks for the video Dom. I would like to suggest for your next video the recent KEPLER ELEMENT. I love it!

I'm neither a film composer nor a soundtrack producer, am just here to consume great entertainment. Thanks Dom !!
Great work on that padshop apollo library.👏
Maravilha. Achei ótimo este vídeo. Essa ideia de apresentar plugins e bibliotecas gratuitas sempre é ótimo!. Parabéns.

Great video!! Will definitely be picking some of these up. But i have to ask, how did you do that to the monitor? OBS? DaVinci? Thanks in advance!

Hey dom your videos are such a blessing for cubase users 🙌

1. your god damn monitor effect
2. thank you for the information
I would assume Keep Forest is in part 2?! Also, check Subversion by DarkForce Audio. The choirs in there are so epic!
Did you run sound at Rockville in Daytona Beach this year? If not I seen your doppelganger.
Hey Dom, where did you get that t shirt from? It’s really cool.
Cool! What's the upper - DAW controller or something?
@ 4:37 ❤❤❤
Dope video, as always. Where can I get that shirt?! 😊
i love this start)

Can one get them from the Steinberg website?

Dom what is that display my dude?!
I would also like to know this. Looks more like a television than a monitor.
Dom try Zero G Kepler 🙏🏽🙏🏽
Hello. What is the monitor and how many inches?
It's a screen capture added in post. His actual monitor is a lot further back (watch his sudio tour!).
I wish we could get the links 😊
To be honest...with enough musical fantasy and Cubase/Halion/GrooveAgent you do not need all of this...(It's nice to have, but you might as well start using Delay Lama...)
Why does Dom sound like an Angel
So great...i wish there were links.😊
I've added them :)

What does it means free if they aren't?
So...all of these are free? Do I need full kontakt version (paid) for run them? Sorry if there are some mistakes, I'm not an English native.
Only SoundPaint FreeAngels is free.
Note that it's 10 paid + 1 free.
@@BigMTBrain maybe you're referring to another library but Pandora is definitely not free 😉

Is it the angle or is your monitor a 55 inch tv?
💥❤
