yea! I don't have 100% knowledge on wraiths yet but it is my understanding that they are very powerful against crawlers so their job is the same as arclights in this situation. It doesn't hurt to have more clear but if he develops more crawlers instead of arclights, his board is gonna be more powerful when he goes wraith
I was only using marksmen for the assault mode. From the games i played it seemed like committing into them was a big mistake, so teching more techs for them was bad, thats why i dont have range. The elite marksman was because sometimes the enemy just ignored my 3 assmen the whole game and they leveled to the moon and it was worth it. The aerial spec was for another use case. I sometimes countered wraith pushes with vulcans with best partner and then I build one marksman with aerial spec. The shooting squad was only for subsidized marksman card. When it came up round 2 I could use my deployments into the assmen and even when the enemy countered them, i got a fang line for a very cost efficient price.
@@felixbeaudouin1899 I don't think its strong or anything, but absolutely playable. I learned it myself because it allowed me to pick some very bad starting packs (f.e marksman+mustang) and do something with it. So there's a lot better things to learn in this game
@@SurreyEZ well thanks. What would you have a 1300 player learn i already follow your list of commands. I like your play style. I want to be able to play aggro or defend but with more focus on aggro
I'm not at your MMR, but at 13:00 when the primary units are overlords and vulcans with fire barrage, after getting the melting point win I would have gone missile interceptor WF instead of shields at 14:45 Is that a bad strat? Seems like the chaff could pull the emp sledges and the missile interceptors would have destroyed overlord attack and vulcan fire barrage so the chaff would live longer, put the WF behind the tanky units like the scorps so even if the chaff didn't survive the emp sledges would be hitting the scorps first, at least that is the way I think about it.
Yes. The WF doesn't offer anything new at that point to the board. The shields counter the fire just fine for 200. It's very bad idea in general to start unlocking new units that do the same job as the already existing ones. However, going WF with phoenix spawn on round 6 instead of the melting point and following it up with anti missile after we see the incendiary is a possible choice. Seems very risky to me though since the boat threat is in muiltiple places of the map and we can only have one factory.
depends a bit how everything is setup and what kind of starting units are on the board. But emp storms, emp sledges or emp hackers are good options. Early fortress with giant spec is also quite powerful
I like the articulation of possible opponent moves
arclight + wraith unlikely bc? they both splash ground?

oh, awesome, yeah that second reason also makes sense. thank you
Hello Surrey. Could you please explain your choice of techs on the Marksman ? especially no range and fang production. thanks

@@SurreyEZ thanks. Do you still use this setup. Would you recommend learning how to use assmode ?

How do i beat assault marksman spam? they feel like arclights but better all-around

@@SurreyEZ Thanks! Im in 1100 and i face it often down here, ill try your suggestions.
Ya did not commit to the assman... trust in the assman and keeep spaming it.

You have to show us your Hacker play instead of spamming 100 credit bubble ;D
