Would love to see more price breakdowns on jobs like you did for the fill valve, it's interesting to see what other plumbers are charging
Yeah I can definitely start saying about what I’m charging on jobbing videos 100%
Love that word "snatching". I need to use it more. As I seem to be snatching everything at work to get home b4 the traffic.
Love a good snatch 😂
A little tip 🤓
I change the towel rail cartridge just like the bath tap you did. That way I don't need to change the whole valve, pipe and if the F&E is above you head like the one you just did I do it live 😁
Try it 🤓
I'm in and out it in 5 minutes 💪
Once tried that as an apprentice and fucked it up badly 😂😂
@@SmartPipePlumbing try it again. It really works.
Been doing it for years 😁
I always keep random back nuts and bits and pieces like that in my organiser tray. Saved me loads of times. Ive dropped a few behind boxings ecr
Haha I'm still watching and you just done exactly what I said
Lucky you could get the flush valve changed without having to take the cistern off would have been an all day job haha
Couldn’t believe I did it just after saying it aswell 😂
@@SmartPipePlumbing happens to everyone haa
Good video mate, I’ve liked and subbed ;)
Thanks for the sub!
Hi just subscribed to your channel great content from one plumber to another something new to learn every day
Thanks and welcome 🙏
very well done job sir 👍
Thank you! Cheers!
Ha ha lost my plastic pipe slice down some boxing this week, and ive almost solvent weld brushes down stacks. Glad it's not just me😂
We all make mistakes mate, happens to the best of us
@@SmartPipePlumbing Honestly Ive got dropsy on steroids some days
Can just bung cold feed and its fine too isnt it? Or pipe freeze is handy too yeah? Cheers
No you you would still have to drain the lot down
Nice tip on the socket wonder where you got that from 😂
Plumbers tools
@@SmartPipePlumbing I meant the tip I mentioned it to you a while back 🤣
Hi any chance of a 10 min run through vid about what you carry in the rogue 2..have one myself but never loaded it up.thanks
Yeah mate been thinking about doing one for a while now so will get on it
Brill.thanks
When bunging the tank do you do exactly the same when its a cold water storage tank in the loft? Bung the feed pile and then the?
You can do yes however on this job the cold water tank was to high up to do it
can someone tell me why u use the paste? Here in the netherlands we just use tape?
Tape is for diyer over here and paste is for pros 😂 just joking each to there own
@@SmartPipePlumbing aha yes no clue why. What's it for? Also just sealing? I see some even use both haha.
@@willemgijs3803don't quote me but I think the paste has some teflon in it. It just helps seal between the olive and fitting and lubricates as its tightened up.
Some debate on whether its a low level legionella risk or not. Hospitals here in UK for example you can't use paste so tape would be your only option if it a fitting leaked.
@@tirvplumbing yeah or hemp. Hemp is the best one.
@@willemgijs3803 interesting hemp is banned here for drinking water due to it causing bacterial growth.
You can use it on heating but it's considered old school now, never actually seen it used in uk.
I live next to Stanningley park mate I have a rothenberger freeze kit you're more than welcome to use it anytime
Cheers mate, didn’t realise I had anyone local watching 🙌
@SmartPipePlumbing yes mate nice to know someone goes through same crap as me in West leeds 👍 😀 😉
