(Completely missed Fishlock holding McNabb down (arm nearly around her neck) while jumping as the ball came to her on the previous corner kick. Her jump was completely stiffled. (NWSL+) But on this play completely missed that Fishlock *again* wrapped up Mcnabb with her arms into a hug. McNabb is spinning out from being held back. (She was kept from jumping on the previous play so she knows she needs to break free) She is even leaning backward to avoid contact when trying to get her body free. That's not a swing at someone. That's a spin. "But I saw a fist." Oh geez. No context. No 3 dimensional thinking. McNabb was being mugged the whole way on both successive corners. Yes she makes contact but she is spinning back with her whole body trying to break free from being held up. (Her left arm held down in front too) Nothing there. Horrible, consequential miss there refs. Overall this center did NOT screw up this game like some suggested though. She dished cards because it as warranted and the players didn't respond. Really wish more refs were on her level though (skill, not card dishing)
