17 October is was an nightmare! I fail my driving test at Farnborough , after 60 driving lessons. First attempt = 6 serious faults and 8 minors. The examiner told me at one point: Follow the traffic signs to Guilford, please! OK! Which way?!🤣 FAIL!! To much panicking and confusion. I drove on that area many times but on my test, i was completely lost, is not easy at all. This video is very helpful, thank you so much!

Very good and constructive video. Just one question. When adjusting speed eg slowing or increasing why just check the centre mirror on occcasions? Surely centre and Tom would be best as something may be planning to overtake us. Just a thought. Maybe wrong 😊
Good question! The more the better and if you see anything in your centre mirror check your doors mirrors too at the same time for more information The phase we use quite a lot is more speed more mirrrorS check all 3 when you can 👍👍
hey, i’ve got my test in farnborough next march (so still got a while to practice, luckily) but i’m worried i’ll fail for going too slow. say it’s a 30mph road but there are lots of roundabouts, traffic lights, speed bumps etc, i go at around 26/27mph but my instructor tells me to speed up? i don’t want to risk sliding over the speed limit so i keep it a bit below, not to a dangerous level of course
You should do more videos again like this one but more busy looks empty lol also be nice if you could say speed limits more nice video though better then most
Hey Ian I've just failed my driving test with one serious which was from an accumulation of minors which involved me overtaking parked cars by too much. I never knew someone could be failed for this, so do you have advice on how I could overcome this kind of thing next time?
Yes if you do any minor fault to many times it becomes a serious, Just practice practice practice, get as much time on the toad as possible and ask your instructor to help you with what was hi lighted on your test Good luck next time 👍
@@ThinkDriving Sorry, I don't think I worded the question properly. The repeated fault was me leaving too much of a gap between my car and the parked vehicle. Is this actually grounds for a minor fault?
@@ariahashemi7937 if you are too wide, people following you may be confused by your position, and anyone coming towards you may feel like they have to stop for you when if you where in the correct place they would not so much, you must have been very wide several times

Oh really at what point was that? If you are talking about 6:34 that 20 sign is for the road on the left that you can turn into, all our learners ask about that one, the main way you know it’s not for you is that when the speed limit changes, there is almost always a pair of signs that you drive between, Because of that lorry parked just before it you can see the other 20 sign on the left side of that road. Hope this helps :)

6:33 there was a 20mph sign there did it not apply to the road you were driving on?
That 20 sign is for a small road that runs down the side of the building. The first time I drove passed it, I was so confused 😂👌🏻

If it’s safe to do, then you do need to be as close to it as possible
