yup, it's a lovely addition. It's one of those little things that it's possible to build inside a multi FX but having it in front gives you that extra bit of control of what's going into the other box. I love it, even with all the processing power of the DuoX.
Ooh I can't wait to hear what you do with the overdrive - your sound already has such a defined attack, I can see the overdrive becoming a key part of your sound!!
@@solobasssteve I’m thinking it might be just the ticket to get my rickenbacker really sounding monstrous! I just gotta find the perfect song to show it off
@@Julesplaysbass yeah, I'm pretty sure you could do a pretty amazing version of a lot of the classic Rick tones - Chris Squire, Lemmy, Geddy. Having the EQ there would help counteract for of that inherent clackiness of the Rick and put some weight back into the sound x
Love that. Really enjoyed it
Thank you!
I need to get myself that distortion pedal, love that it keeps the low signal and only eq's the distorted part such a simple but clever detail

Thanks for this! I’ve been mostly using the compressor, so this definitely gives me some more ideas for digging into the overdrive

Really nice demo, Steve. What is the processor that you are running everything through, per chance?
thanks Rick. it's the MOD Audio DuoX. The current version is called the Dwarf - Bob developed a plugin version of the Looperlative for it.
