Roger, Assuming you're talking about the Ventrac 4500 and the Steiner 450 - here's the scoop: Ventrac and Steiner are 2 different companies. These 2 tractors are similar in that they are both center articulated and have a similar attachment style, but everything else is different. The machines use different components, hydraulic designs, etc. and have different features, different attachments, and totally different dealer networks. The best way to imagine it would be two cars from two different brands. They both build a car - and those cars serve the same fundamental purpose. They both have 4 wheels and are a similar size and shape - but everything under the hood and behind the scenes is totally different. +Drew Tibert Good eye Drew - you are right! We used grade 5 bolts for testing. The production units use a straight tine (no threads).
+Ventrac you should make a groomer that you can pull behind a lawn mower,atv or a small tractor.
Mine grinded down to the bolts in a year from hard clay. Stick to the three wheeler to be honest
Will it work on gravel drive ways and parking lots
No. It's best to use a power rake for that.
