But you stayed calm and positive the whole time
and that's simply the best attitude you can have in situations like this.
I may have had a little better luck, but I also had to go through three whole pages and spend a few red crystals.
It was a gamble, but I didn't want to repeat the same mistake I made with the FF9 weapons.
I have all 4 for them but even after 7 months they are at OP2/OP4 which is not ideal.
So this time I skipped the first MH banner and spent +60K on Aerith/Tifa alone. ^^
(Also because I don't plan on going big on Vincent.)
Hopefully you have better luck next time / with Vincent & the Anniversary banners.

@Seraphina_FF14 thank you!! And I feel like losing out on a banner is one thing, but letting it get the better of me would be the true loss, so gotta stay positive and hopeful! I’m glad you changed your beta for pulling this limited banner. I got screwed on Zidane sword and it bothers me to this day tbh. Just seeing it in my box abso useless.
And I hope you check out the books! They are a lot of fun. The story reads much like a world of myths or fairy tales where things you would never expect to be true start to unravel and become true one by one.

Sorry about the pulls man, this banner has been either kinda good or straight up brutal to EC content creators from what i'm seeing 😅 I pulled 25 times and got only 1 non-guaranteed
Banner weapon 💀 Octo didn't have the best luck either but Nightlite had really good pulls. But like you said even if the pulls weren't great it still makes us have to think outside the box a little and not just have easy mode with all OB6 weapons.

Not the best of luck, but if it’s any consolation, you are my fav EC youtuber, with one of the reasons being your positivity, even when your pulls aren’t great. Hope your luck is better for Vincent/summer outfits/anniversary!

Congrats on what you did get. But yeah, all those pulls and no 5 star in them. It's awful. Mine were pretty bad, too. :( But, I was determined to get both costumes - and I did. The chocobo luck wasn't that bad. I got 3 x3 red chocobos so, that's great. I even got Zack's costume in the end, too. But, the only copies of the weapons that I got for the girls were from the guaranteed stamp slots. :( But I did get the costumes so, that makes me very happy. And as you said, there's going to be other elemental weapons that can go with them in the future. I just wanted to future proof myself a little.
Also I forgot but we can use the Arcanum’s for materia dps! Should work pretty well with subs built for lightning damage

Man feel sorry for you, I started exactly same way as you and was brutal, both 1 stamps, and first pull was EXACTLY the same as you with 1 purple kamura and all blues lol. But I got a 6 stamp after and completed the page in 5 pulls which was good. OB1 Kamura. I need to exercise self control because I'm sure the anniversary will make these current stuff look crap in comparison.
You had good luck in your recent pulls so I guess this is there to even things out. I actually prefer having bad luck like around 4 nothing in a row for free pulls so I can save the good luck for banner pulls.
You got absolutely trolled there today, with nameless and some random cloud weapons replacing your wishlist, should have stopped at OB1 kamura and save 20k for anniversary. But I guess it's hard to exercise self control with the temptation baiting you lol.

I had even less luck. Had literally same luck for stamps, got 2 costumes and single Tifa glove+OB4 Aerith' wands. I had weapon parts to OB5 it and was halfway to OB6 so I thought do 1 more pull, then another one lol .in the end I am 5 weapon parts short to OB6. BUT i had really terrible luck for 5 stars. Had 4 or 5 pulls without any and those rare i had half of them were not even wishlist. But Aerith wand made me at least ok that i didnt pull for Cloud weapon- she's gonna buff whole party High at OB6

tifa does have a wishlist-able lightning weapon --> Crystal Gloves. It's just meh as a primary.

I've been playing Dokkan Battle and other gachas for nearly 9 years now. If there's a lesson I learned it's that frustration fades away really fast and you end up sticking to the game because you casually appreciate it for what it is. More than sticking to it because you want to collect everything at the maximum level and with the maximum achievement in all events. "It's just a game" after all!

If i had those number of crystals i woulda went for tifas weapon, shes the only one with a proper lightning magic build atm, and who knows for how long.. considering we had only murasame for over half a year. Then again, we will probably get another one during 1st year anniversary. Honestly i think kamura wand is so good even at just ob0, that aoe mid tier is solid already. I just went for ob6 since i have been stocking up on aerith parts
Yeah I can see that pov but tbh I think pulling past stamp card 3 is just a whale’s game and I just couldnt drop the remaining crystals. If I buy a 10K paid pack I could get Tifa’s weapon to OB5 with all my parts but I honestly think her weapon was the worst of the MH weapons (despite it being so rare) that I think there is going to be another Magic Lightning arcanum during 1 year.. hopefully.
I have dropped down to 20k crystals and got ob4 for bith weapons. Needs about 100ish specific weapon parts to get both to ob6. I plan on passing all the banners, and saving all the blues to come before the anniversary. Do you think that 20k at the moment is in a good position until the anniversary?
It’s def a tad low but you should be just hitting around 100K by the end of September if you clear all content and save strictly. You can do it!
My luck was pretty bad, did 9 rolls (24k crystal and the 10 monster hunter vouchers) but I ended with just one copy of Kamura wand and 2 of Tifa's weapon. I could have rolled more but after getting 12 stamps in 9 rolls and very few other weapons it felt like it was a set of bad rolls anyway. I've decided to cut my losses and accept the power level they're currently at so that I can keep an eye on anniversary and summer banners.
I still have Tifa weapon parts I could use but there will be other weapon banners in the future that will surely want them so I can keep saving them.
That’s a good call. I find that if luck is bad from the start it typically stays bad, and vice versa. Besides Kamura wand base is still incredible. You got Aerith costume yeah?
@@BodhiJMSRyder I actually went for the Tifa costume, I made the gamble that I can use sub weapons or get another costume in the future for debuff extension but I wanted the lightning arcanum for Tifa. That way I have OB1 kirin gloves with an arcanum so it hits pretty good.
Honestly speaking I thought the Kirin costume would make more benefit than the Aerith costume and I preferred it so I just went for that one instead.

Haha I don’t immediately collect from my gift box. I save them in there so 12K was what I had saved from the last time I collected.
The mistake I made around @13:00 was I didn't change it and I got tifas instead of aeriths, lol. I did like 3 more pulls on the 4th page and it was all garbage 😂 I kinda hate this rng. My kamura wand is still at ob4 😂 I did get to OB6 Ultimatics though! Instant level 120. The r abilities is so good 😭

As much has I love tifa and arc costumes in general. Just pulling for the costume and having a ob1 limited weapon makes no sense. Its a shame because if i did go for tifas costume, I doubt we get another lightning weapon for tifa.

Memories from the new tower floors and parts are random rewards from events or coop exchange shop or you can buy them
I did 5 rolls with 15k with only 1 guaranteed kamura wand and the costume. I wonder if i should pull to OB 1 guaranteed for another 12k?
OB1 is not as important if it’s not a DPS weapon so no I don’t think it’s worth it. Just save for the coming banners 🙏🏽
I'm sorry about the pulls anyway, I was without gems but Aerith's weapon is simply fantastic not to try to take it, so I tried, I had a 3 stamp, 2 stamp and then 5 stamp, in the end I also did the last one and I brought home Tifa's costume, quite useless considering that I don't have the weapon, but I already have Aerith's healing dress so it would have been even more useless (I think?) and at least I can use Tifa as a aoe magic thunder dps
Yeah I’m hoping we get a lightning magic version of pressure ridge for Tifa so the arcanum is useful hahaha
@@BodhiJMSRyder yes, a magical thunder weapon would be the best, but even if it were physical it doesn't matter, in any case the arcanum has it, it would only lack that little bit of attack and literally with the pumped abilities that certain weapons have, it doesn't matter, for example I used cloud magically built with fire arcanum using materia to make shiva ex2

Imo this banner's drop rate is so wrong, I spent 96K and ended up with lots of 5* weapons that were not even wishlisted and frankly don't see me using them in a regular basis, but barely got Kirin OB6 and Kamura OB1 😢 I don't regret it though, because I had already decided to throw all in for my girls and finally got some good lightning damage that I was lacking and a good healing outfit for Aerith, but I really hope they have better drop rates for the anniversary banners, especially something that makes more sense, giving actual priority to the featured and wishlisted weapons

@kkrakataka you should have between 75-100K by then if you strictly save and clear all content released depending if you F2P or light spender

I wouldnt wishlist aerith or tifas weapons if youre trying to pull their limited ones lol, it was a lesson learned on my part. I fluked during the guide gloves banner like that but i think its much better to not let rng swing into unlimited weapon for the character you want to pull
I mean mathematically that shouldn’t affect it as the char of the WL weapon isn’t a pulling factor, but yeah the thought has crossed my mind haha. Still I ended up with Bunny Gloves OB6 which is pretty solid I think!

I ended up having to go all in to get aeriths rod to ob6. Ah well. Any reason you don't use weapon parts for weapons? Whenever you click on a weapon and it has hundreds of unused parts, it triggers my ocd real bad
Hahaha the reason being is that, I like the challenge of lower OB weapons for content and only increase them if I’m at a breaking point where it isn’t possible unless I level it up.
Sometimes, you might want to save them for limited banners

Pulled six times and wound up with Aerith's new weapon at OB6. How's that for luck? Threw that thing on her alongside Floral Wand, Nanaki with Ivy and Rage Collars, and Sephiroth with Shinra Military Sword and Dark Heavens. The end result has been ridiculous.

I believe the last costume I pulled for Aerith was the Garnet Robe before this? But yeah I’ve been collecting her parts for a LONG time now. Tho I did the get the 8800 paid Tifa/Aerith pack. Still already had 100s saved up

@carlosrezende9522 you can always use parts to take that weapon to base 5* if you have a 3/4 star version. Trick is with weapon parts do not ever spend them on anything but limited weapons ever. ESPECIALLY for Cloud, Seph, Aerith, Tifa, Zack. Others you have more lenience as they get less limited stuff.
Sorry to say you weren't lucky on this one pulling on a limited banner means only the banner weapons matter everything else is extra. I pulled for Aerith was able to OB6 with 28k, 0 copy of gloves, so I tried to chase a copy and ended up 0B7 staff for an extra 6k, Now I have a Tifa outfit with no lightning lol. I watched ntelite9 pull video he got lucky
