yooooooooooo that castle siege was amazing. I was hoping you'd show that whole fight in the end =( This right here is a builder who understands proportion and aesthetics. yes the detailing adds more instances, but it can transform a simple four corner building into an amazing structure. the base, the trimmings, the contrast, the layers & depth -if done tastefully, will elevate your build! If you understand these facets, you'll stop using x's and angled beams to decorate/fill your wall. I see you. we've all been there.
Awesome build! Really well done! You can hear your frustration to not beeing able to finish it completely. Nevertheless, please keep doing what you're doing 😊
Hey man killed it with this video! Hope if you get the chance sometime you could give us a couple shorts or a video about planning out or detailing dvergr style buildings, I know it's a style I really struggle to make look good. Looking forward to your next big project!
Yeah Buddy!!! 30k+ instances. That makes my Hall look silly at 11 k. But I'm also on console 😂. Great build, really enjoyed watching you work. Lots of inspiration. Mahalo Bradda.
Outstanding work!!!! I am a huge fan of building in a grand way even in survival mode, but an area like this in the Ashlands - it's just not possible or practical just because of the never-ending environmental damage, monster raids, etc. If you use QOL mods in Valheim, I would highly recommend the mod Better Wards. You can build anything within it's radius (that you can set) and set custom levels of protection for any structure built within.
I agree with that the building system needs a rework. I tried making a huge detailed manor as my ultimate late game base, im at around 24k instances and I'm dropping a bunch of fps. Tried also making a viking village with a bunch of friends on an online server and that wasn't do-able either because of frames dropping so we forced quit. From what I understand from Ninebyte you can modify the pieces to make them invulnerable and that helps with the frames since the game doesn't have to calculate health/damage.
Very impressive as usual. 🙏 A question: Which graphic settings are you using when building this big? All at max? Cuz I have noticed that even if you have a good computer the game always have some fps problem when you have so many instances.
ive never played this game, but if you want to see some of the huge bases i made on 7 days to die, just let me know i made bases using millions of blocks.. including an eiffel tower, a huge star base.. the biggest i ever made - took 3 months.. a giants kitchen, the taj mahal, the hanging gardens of babylon, an evil supervillains volcano lair, etc etc
Lava slimes deforming terrain when they explode really throws a monkey wrench in base defenses. I normally like to raise the ground and make dirt walls around the perimeter but that is no longer safe. I think now the best thing is to just make walls that are high enough so that they can’t jump into my base.
I am building a dual wall entrance to my kingdom and it already has 41,000 instances, care to guess my fps? and im not joking, i am seriously doing this, the lighthouse alone was like 30k instances.
What do you mean by "Instances" ? I played a lot of Valheim and have been through the Ashlands but i don't know what you mean by instances. I know what the word means, and i know what it would mean in a lot of multiplayer games, but i don't get what you mean in your title for this build.
@@jjthebuilder Ah, thank you. i had no idea. i only ever played on survival and never tried just building so it never occured to me to look for info in the F keys. Appreciate the quick response. Also i didn;t say it in the first comment but Really great build dude, wouldn't mind raiding a castle like that in survival 😛
It’s a pity that it was filmed at such a distance and at such speed that I can’t possibly construct it. I always follow your videos, but this time it won’t work.
From now on i may call you JJ the castle master! ;) Amazing build! Congrats to be that perserverant! 👍
Favourite grausten build I've seen yet, incredible job JJ!
Amazing work, and awesome ideas with the walls. : )
awesome build my guy! love seeing what fellow builders come up with 😎😎
Amazing build and thank you for the explanations of why you do what you do.

This man is a legend 👍 stunning work!!!
Bro you are a true legend..... and a mater who always creates a masterpiece...watching this 100 times can't satisfying my eyes.

This is insane. Well done man. I'd love to see your take on an orc fortress.
Great build and video brother.
Amazing work! Gratz
That’s incredible! Best valheim builder
Bro!!!! You always leave me speechless 😶
That looks amazing gotta show us how you detailed the walls

I love this game just for we can able to build amazing castles wish we had more games like this
I like the cross on the roof
massive. well done!

Amazing work
21:00 that blob is adorable.
looks awesome dude
Build of the month? You have my vote!
I have had those snapping issues on smaller builds. There's something weird in this update about some coordinates for some materials i think
Have you considered using the "spawn Rock_7" trick?
ive never played this game, but if you want to see some of the huge bases i made on 7 days to die, just let me know

Looks like there would be a souls boss inside
insane
Now, imagine how much time it would take to farm all those materials….

Can we download it that world? Lol
It looks nice, but it's impossible to build something like this again. The first castle was easier to replicate.
it very cool
0:08 Thirty thousand what?
what if... a single lava blob were to spawn

Click F2 on your keyboard it will show how many instances there are in your area. This includes build stuff etc

It was really hard to film because in the Ashlands there are a lot of effects. But I might make a video explaining the way I detail.

My bad, but thank you.
Cry about it
Jesus Christ...
Flying... unlimited resources... unable to attack monster... it is not Valheim soul.
