- I have gotten a few questions regarding this bass. How it feels, sounds etc. This is a short slap demo. I've lowered the pickups quite a bit, especially the bridge pickup, because the tone was too bright. Now it's more round and has more booty
Nice slap tone, this bass is amazing for the price.
I got one in the tobacco sunburst finish over a month ago. Two-octave fretboard, full-access bottom cutaway and a P&J pickup combo. Not bad for $220.00!!
Just thinking of getting this. Thanks for the demo
The best soundcheck for Yamaha TRBX 174 Bass
IT IS SO BEAUTIFUL.
You are an awesome bass player!
Jól szól, akár egy felhúrozott ásó! 🥳
thanks!! amazing tone..will buy..
I'm shocked at how good yamaha products are. Even entry level.
Lol, you just threw in Tommy the Cat at the end. Nice demo, great for the price.
Thanks man, you helped me decide on purchasing this. What strings are on there?
Good presentation man, thx, I must get one.
sexy ass bass bro!
Don’t it play tuns ?
How many cm did you lower the action?
cool..
What type what size strings are you using man great video you are sounding good....
probably stock
Nice slapping of bass
Anyway I’m new to bass an I was wondering what “processed” and “DI signal meant. Thanks
DI signal is my bass going straight into my audio interface. No effects or anything. Just the raw signal from the pickups
Processed is the same signal but with effects added. I used EQ and compression
bro , is it easy find bandmates to play with , when youre a bassist ?
Which one you suggest, Cort Action PJ4 or Yamaha TBRX174? Cause lot of people say cort is versatile
is this the root beer finish one? its really pretty!
I believe the root beer finish is more red than my bass. Mine is the natural finish
Smauli ok thanks! :)
They technically call this the ew mango
this is the EW (exotic wood ) variant
what strings are on this rig in the video.
does the finish scratch easily? looking into this as a first bass,,
did you get it?
I have the bass and you wont scratch it with your hands or nails so dont be afraid. Obviously it will scratch if you mistreat it but this happens to all instruments
Yo, you got tabs for the song?
Is that the rootbeer??
yes it is
its not its more red than that
@@Phenomenomism no it isn't...this is the EXOTIC WOOD
Man, I need a help.. I’m getting a noise with this guitar especially when increasing the first tone knob (treble control). When using compressor the noise is heavy, not able to record. I need help to remove the noise. Can you help?
Replace the pots, that’s a common problem in cheaper instruments
Find a grounded outlet in your house and move your studio there or hire a professional electrician
Hi Bro, i ordered the same Bass guitar today, What DAW you are using for recording?
I'm using Reaper
@@Smauli and for audio interface?
@@guitarhub90 I've had the Audient iD4 for about 4 years now and I'm very satisfied. I would totally recommend it
@@Smauli do you think i can use my Boss ME80 to record a Bass? I use my ME80 for my Guitar directly to my DAW but i dont know if the ME80 can handle the bass.
@@guitarhub90 I do believe it can handle the bass. I've used my Zoom bn3 bass multi fx unit to record guitar for some of my videos. I don't see the reason why it wouldn't work
Hey, do you think this is a good bass for playing primus?
Yes but you have to have a good set up in order to play those hard primus riffs. Low action etc.
You sound amazing although you might need to improve your timing a tad bit
