Bass #69 was my favourite. The tone and subtle undertones, the articulate sound that really grabbed your soul. One of the most beautiful sounds I've ever heard.
The thought that he might have actually played all 200 all the way through the song, played the song 200 times, so the editing was perfect is another record.
Store now has 200 basses that were played in a world record by the most famous bassist TH-camr. They also received a bit of TLC in that they were tuned and proven that they were good to be sold. Huge win for the shop and the editing and work put into this video is kind of mind-blowing.
Hey Davie, I don't think you'll see this but if you do then I started watching your channel a few months ago and knew nothing about bass. A week ago I got my first bass because of your videos. This video was great and the editing was 👌

YES, that's the content I subbed for! This video is also absolutely brilliant for everyone who ever wondered what different basses sound like! Would have been extremely cool if all of them would have been recorded with the same settings but obviously some of them had a degree of distortion to them and stuff, but still.
This video, for me atleast, speaks to just how each bass is unique in its sound. Couple that with the fact that each will probably be owned by someone different and you quickly realize that no two players can ever sound exactly the same.
This is a great tune; you pulled some great time signature surprises on us S L A P P E R S. Of all these, I can't help but be the biggest fan of the P and J style basses. That said, a great player doesn't need great instruments to sound great.

Since you asked for ideas, I think more covers of video game music would be great! I would love to hear the character select theme from Galaxy Fight, but I think there's also dozens of tracks from Chrono Trigger that would sound amazing in your bass style! Thanks for the "I Speak Normally For The First Time EVER" video. That really helps me as a fellow creator, looking up at a giant like you, just as you once were toward your favorite creators.
This must have taken a tremendous amount of work to pull off, just keeping the audio levels together had to be a pain. I didn't see my bass in there, no Epiphones at all in fact. I couldn't choose a favorite because none of them get played long enough but there are plenty of mighty fine looking ones in that line up.

I didn't think there would come a day when a BASSLINE would get stuck in my head! Everything in this video is EPIC! Excellent groove, superb playing, and the editing is beyond next level! And you made me drool over a couple of models! I didn't recognize the Ibanez Soundgear SR logo and had to look at the bass selection at the Bassline store to find them. SLAPP them! They sound amazing!

I believe it's a Sire V3 based on two things; it's a rosewood fretboard with dots instead of block inlays, and the first knob looks like a stacked pot (so not a V3P which just has traditional volume volume tone)
I know that is not on purpose but the part in minute 1:03 is very similar to a little part on Cliff Burton's solo on Metallicas "Orion" Song on "3:59 min". Davie never stops getting better, he truly is an inspiration to me, this is a great solo. You probably break the record of the great number of basses slapped in one song! Fan since 2020 here! 🇧🇷
