its nice and all but as an alternative you can buy a cheap 5G phone for 7k, poco m3 pro 5G specifically, its what i have been using as a pocket wifi. you get not just a pocket wifi but a full blown phone, plus you get dual sim , globe and smart internet whichever has the strongest signal in the area.
@@liangmingsu drains the batt faster and when it gets to a certain degree.. hotspot gets flimsy.. so personally not advisable for long time usage.. pocket wifis are optimized to be used in long periods of time thats why it lasts longer than using a 5g phone..
I have my samsung fold 3 as a 5g router sa bahay. Ok naman so far.. daming naka connect.. basta well ventilated ung phone... Hehehe naka connect palagi sa charger... Ok pa naman so far...

Insert Simcard, make sure that you can see the cellular signal besides the battery icon. Goto WiFi Setting Turn WiFi ON Goto Communication Setting Communication mode set to Standard (ST) APN - ADD APN NAME - Access Point Name - Get info from your simcard provider Then Save Choose your APN
it is working, i went to USA and was able to use it with T-Mobile, I went to Taiwan and was able to use with Chunghwa Telecom, in the Philippines I was able to use it with Smart Prepaid Sim

It only works as 4G with the T-Mobile data plan. I wonder which carrier might have better performance

But hot spots on mobile phones can easily burn, damage the battery, and be unstable, making it definitely not as user-friendly as professional CPEs

I bought it online and is using it here and some other countries. Sorry haven’t tried using it in Japan
