The UK belongs to the people and without the people the rich and powerful are fucked... I say bring the rich and powerful down to the level of the working classes and watch them crawl.. Tony cuenca
😂😂
It’s Irrelevant what they get they having a pay rise in three years so every year ther getting a pay cut simple every working person in this country should have a pay rise with inflation every year
Union bosses are the absolute scum of the earth!
How?
Why?
Fact
@@utrapzab you maaaadddd 😂😂😂
They're pure vermin. All look the same...thuggish, snarling socialist/marxist turds 💩
After 30 years of teaching physics. Final salary 38k. Should of been a train driver. With less working hours.. I had no overtime.
The fact that this interview is being conducted by a a disgraced TV personality, whom is responsible for a lot of pain and misery plus the actual suicide of a vulnerable man says a lot about this channel.
To get a pay rise I had to retrain in my job. Not get one IN the job
Not 10s more than a nurse. It's double a band 6 nurse. And nurses start at band 5. A band 6 is a team leader.
I want more 😭
Say JEREMY with all his MILLIONS for reading a bit of paper !!😐
So if a care worker could get a salary of 60 thousand pound a year the train drivers would want 120 thousand pounds a year which means we would all be paying 10 pound for 1 litre of fuel and the rest
Lol
Or maybe they'd think good on them for standing up for themselves and getting the pay and conditions they deserve...
@@kev8816 doubt it if it hinders them getting to work..
@@alexander92179 how many care workers can afford to take trains every day? Funny how train prices always go up by RPI ( government mandated) but wages don't, a race to the bottom doesn't work out well for anyone but the rich
@@kev8816 many actually. It's not that expensive if you book in advance and organise it properly. The ones in London also travel on the tube where the fares are much lower. .
How much should a news reader be on? How much should a CEO be on?
What happened to the high wage economy?
Why are you not complaining about the high wages in other industries ?
Weoponising the poverty wage, divide and conquer, Murdoch smirks
£59,000 is more than double the average wage, let alone the poverty wage.
Where were the bloody unions when the care workers were being sacked ?
Literally..
Shall we pay all 33 million people 10-15% more a week across the country simultaneously? What does he think that will do to an already tumultuous inflation crisis?
Maybe instead of having the trickle down economics (aka p*ssed on) we could have it from the bottom up. We should be able to live spend and save... I don't think it's too much to ask for
@@calicokittenproductions591 bottom up is organic and creates wealth which is better.
I've had this before. Its disgusting what you're on, im doing the same job. My reply - well you can apply where i work but of course you'll take a lower wage if you get the job because it would be 'disgusting' otherwise. I don't think so. What's disgusting isn't that some people get what is perceived as a good wage but that they themselves are paid such a pittance! Bringing someone else's wages down isn't going to help you in the slightest. So, in their own stupidity, their appallingly low wage is ok, as long as everyone else is on the same.
Greed
These guys get people safely to work every morning and safely home every evening. They’re worth 59k a year.
Agreed
Disgusting
Defund Jeremy Kyle.....
What is that very silly man Jeremy Kyles' salary, I wonder.
DO LIE DETECTOR, SORTED!
If he is so concerned about everyone else's wages in the country why is it that when they get what they want they disappear? Also, as someone who travelled on the trains during the heatwave, I failed to see the modernisation.
Train drivers now! So they join some of the most hated people in the UK. Including Jeremy lol
there his person work in tv dose get low pay work short term base for few day living wage
It's fair enough asking for money when on poor salary. Wa wa shift changes etc. If you don't like the heat get out of the kitchen
Just be warned.. get a pay rise. Then the company changes the jobs description and re advertises all jobs. Then all dinghy divers get the jobs for less money. Also why do train fares go up in January for the same service as previous years?
It is the government that raises the fares by RPI in January of each year IIRC. In Jan 2023 RPI was over 10% , instead the fares went up by only 5% so we the travelling public got a discount!
As there are more people WFH there are fewer taking a train. Same as buses, the numbers are GOING DOWN. IMO the majority of running the trains could be modernised more with less human input. Therefore less people are required.
Join a union guys..
What about markets. I am sure i heard that 25% of season tickets have been cancelled so less demand, yet they are demanding no redundacies, NOT REALISTIC. At £59, 000 you could be a primary headteacher with at least 4 years at UNI and student loan debt. The only reason the railways are having strikes is the legacy of being publically owned, hat legacy means that the unions have a strangle hold on the management. It's only sectors like education health and local gov where this is allowed to happen.
A police officer
A nurse
A bus driver
Are on less than train driver how does that make sense.
Well after 59000 after taxes how much is tcause how much is that and you don't just sit and drive you're basically risking your life every day to transport other people Just like if you a person who drives for living your chances of getting an accident go up immensely immensely then if you just drive to work partner car go to work come home in your car again twice A-day
What a clown comment! 🤡
So does anyone who drives for a living on our roads and for half of what the greedy and selfish train drivers get.
What?
Care to try English?
@@ianjohnson01 what job driving on roads does a person have 1000 people as passengers they are responsible for? Closest would be a coach driver. Plus millions of people can drive on a road, driving a train is a whole different set of rules and regulations.
JK at his best. Glad you are back!
Haha
Greedy bar stewards! Top wages and want more.
Whats laughable is that union bosses are on over 150K per year, utterly pathetic. If they are so productive, trains wouldnt be late would they!! Big pay rises will drive inflation. This guy is economically illiterate.
I worked in betting office for 22 years and I have always been on minimum wage and I dealt with far worse abuse and the chance of getting robbed and I worked 40 hours aweek all I got was 14,000 a year and they are moaning getting over 50,000 Jesus they drive a train people out there with far harder jobs
Like care workers and I did care and it’s hard work I take my hat off to care workers I could not do it they deserve better pay so do nurses
Why do train drivers etc get so much anyway ?? 🤔
Responsible for the safety of thousands of passengers, dealing with emergency incidents and train evacuations, massive rulebook to have full understanding of.
If you pay less you get a lower quality of employee. A train driver is responsible for the safety of thousands of passengers. Start lowering the pay and you get unprofessional staff who can't turn up to work on time, turn up hungover or have drugs in their system. This aint a job for mugs!
Add to that they have people jump in front of their train. It really is a high quality job and the pay reflects that!
Im all for increasing salaries! But this is a bit out of touch! I have a science degree and 10 years of experience and my salary is not 60000....
Degrees dont mean so much these days, back in the 80s and further back only the very best got into university, now anyone can do it thus cheapening the value of all degrees and frankly most uni grads are in no real position to earn greater salaries as they dont have working experience.
'a science degree'
@@AM2K2 yes, a degree in science more specifically chemistry.
@@utrapzab you are so spot on! I mean what use is a gender studies degree after all?!
So happy to see this channel failing more and more every day 🙏🏻
Normal stuff from Union strike for high pay for doing nothing in return..🥱😴💤
Can I speak to your carer or are they on strike too?
@@AM2K2 they aren't actually
