It was actually a pretty small study. I'd be interested in seeing it duplicated with a larger sample size. Regardless, the link and results are below:
      www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12361440
      RESULTS:
Of the 51 patients completing the study, 26 (51%) were treated with duct tape, and 25 (49%) were treated with cryotherapy. Twenty-two patients (85%) in the duct tape arm vs 15 patients (60%) enrolled in the cryotherapy arm had complete resolution of their warts (P =.05 by chi(2) analysis). The majority of warts that responded to either therapy did so within the first month of treatment.

Trust me I have had enough research on this. MMR vaccine works on this. All you need is ask your doctor to give MMR vaccine into the wart.you feel 5 sec pain that's it. it would go away after 15 to 20 days. Use zinc tablets daily after your MMR shot.

One of the worst parts of my chemo treatment was warts. My feet became COVERED in them. Home remedies never worked, freezing never worked, so then we got a surgeon and they removed the skin and did a skin graft. Then the warts grew under them. Now we’re doing a painful laser thing on them. It works kind of, but it’s very slow.

had decided to have wart on bottom of foot removed by PC one month ago. Thinking more about it and since it was tolerable I decided to give duct tape a try. Bottom of foot ripped 3/4 inch strip and then tore of a new square when it came off or moved on the foot. It's been around three weeks and I've replaced maybe 6 or 7 times. I did not file or treat wart any different than the rest of the foot. It has just about gone away and I no longer feel it when I walk. I'd say about 80 percent gone now. Thanks!

Try banana peel, if anyone needs it give it a try it's almost free just do it while sleeping and tape it or wrap it with something (slimy side on the wart) Just a couple of times, at first it will get very wrinkly because of the moisture and will eventually start to dry and fall off. I got rid of one on my thumb that for over a year

I had tried all the different methods for my hands and feet and when nothing worked, my doctor sent me to a dermatologist. She used needles to inject a tiny amount of bleomycin into (or possibly under) all the warts and each treatment id lose a few. It worked way better! It was a little painful and often you could get blood blisters under the wart which causes the wart to fall off a few days later. Although personally ive found it no worse that having it frozen. If theyre on your feet you may have a painful time walking for a few days. If nothing else worked for you and you really want the warts gone, its definitely a great option. Sadly there doesnt seem to much information out on the internet about it.

Thats yours immune system that jumped in.
Most warts create a natural immune response with in 2 years.
When this finally happens, Your wart will suddenly get a bit swollen, might itch for a week or so - and then everything disappears naturally.
Caution - if you suffer from multiple warts, or recurrence of them, see your PMD. just to check your immune system is working properly.

I use apple cider vinegar to treat my warts. I cut pieces of cotton ball about the size of the worts, dip them into the acv and put on the worts, use tape to secure the cotton balls. I do that every night. After about a week, it hurts really bad that it wakes me up at night. When I put my finger on it, I feel like heart beats. However, just think about when getting something off your skin, it’s supposed to hurt.

Then apply small dollup of the mix to wart, massage in for a minute and put a plaster on it tightly. Change plaster 2 or 3 times a day, try to keep dry. Tomato juice and paste have been used successfully in removing human skin corn or warts, because of the presence of organic acids in them (tomato juice and paste of green and red ones). I had bigger than this warts I make it dry with unripe tommato, it dry out so fast and dropped ( just put a pieace of tommato on it and bandage it , everyday wash it and do it for 2-3 days and you will see miracle
