I actually like the way the hands switch, think there's some realism in the way it works. I think it's great!
So much hate on this, and at the end of the day it's an endoskeleton (regardless of the changes from the original) it's badass, and from a collectors point you know hot toys won't be making a 2.0 version of this one.
The typical complaint is that its not made of die cast or metal but retards don't understand that this figures price would triple with all the tiny parts there are to build this
This is a great video and comparison of the 1/4 and 1/6 models which I'm on the fence of which one to get. So cool to see!

this Figure is the only thing that can justify the existence of that Toxic waste of a Film.
Like it or Not the Movie Bombed & thank GOD for that I mean really John Connor is the Bad Guy now wft where they smoking.
Bombed in the US, but did well enough in China for the sequels to be greenlit, then cancelled. T6 has already been confirmed, but with James Cameron in charge since he gets all rights back in 17 months.

thanks for the review. Still relatively new to collecting figures but I do have a few Arnold Terminator figures (Old arnie, DX13, and T1 Battle damaged) and I was hoping to get a 1/6 Endo. I know it's not perfect but I still really like the look of the figure.
Just received this in the mail. The Chrome finish, Mechanical detailing and body proportions are far superior to the previous 1/6 AND 1/4 Endoskeleton releases by Hot Toys. It's a beauty!!
Awesome. To change hands can you put the piston rods in the arm first, then attach the hand, then slide the pistons down that are already in the arm and one at a time join to the hand ?

I prefer the „original“ endo and don’t know why they changed so many things to the Genisys version. I really like the simplicity of the original endo. And: Imagine the Genisys version covered by tissue: there is no neck, the head is way too close to the upper torso.
The original endo was owned by StudioCanal, so they had to make some changes

not sure what the alternative would be for the hands without losing the iconic look. doesnt seem too bad

Great review! HT sure took their sweet time releasing this, looks like they gave up when they got to the base - not cool on a premium toy.

Wouldn't it be easier to raise the arm up, slide the pins into the pistons, attach the hand and then pop in the 3 pins to the hands? I feel this way you wouldn't need to try putting 3 pins in 3 holes at the same time while holding a loose hand.
I find this design to be definitely better than the original, looks more accurately shaped like Arnold's physic and more menacing. Unfortunately, it should have been made in Die-Cast metal.

This model is great! Even black parts. It give the volume to the dimensions of the Terminator.
But I didn't understand how to buy it. I can do it in each country?
Also the 1/4 Endo is from Terminator 1 not 2.

Figure looks good but surprised they put a sticker on the base from the dx13.Just reuse the whole base and throw in the LEDs ffs.OK we won't use them but not the point, at least give the collected something for their money. With a terminator you'd think some diecast parts would be a no brainer?Guess not.Good review though and I liked the kneeling pose. The plasma rifle again could have had a led not too much to ask.Not a lot of bang for your buck
This is the new best version... !! More détails more respect of logic anatomie like the foot.. and the calcaneum foot. This is différent but i dont like the black plastic pièce in the plastron . I think there is must détails of the précédent.. 😎
That Endoskeleton was a T-800.
There was nothing wrong with genesis.
So why wouldn't HT make the pistons on the feet the same as the hands? If they had the pistons connects to small ball joints like the hands, they would have similar movement and not break. Very disappointing. Awesome review though as always, I have a feeling we'll be seeing a Ellen Ripley review from you soon, assuming Hot Toys actually decides to release her lol.
It's ridiculous! The Genisys T-800 is quite larger than Arnold and it makes no sense cause they're suppose to be the same character!

Those teeth looked like shit but overall HT did an amazing job. I love the bodybuilder proportions. It's one thing that is better than Stan Winston's Endoskeleton. He looks more like a human skeleton.
PS: 4:48 that base is insanely cheap looking. It's based on Hot Toys DX13 stand but DX13 has 3d printed mesh etc.
If a movie makes its money back with a little extra to spare it is definitely a huge box office crash. So box office success means if it does not make a 90% markup, which only a few movies ever do, its a failure correct? Almost as if the terminator movies in themselves forcasts that the other nééds to overshadow the other; this in light of countless fans' unbelief that never would the 2nd Terminator movie especially, be topped ever. With such a prophecy then how can one flink and eyebrow to these apparent box office failures that did in fact then follow? Fans do not want a new fresh terminator storyline, they're still stuck in the past. How can one be so particular about the storyline of T1 and T2 not being changed, or being so perfect, but quickly accept this new take on the endoskelet that is definitely not the same as the T1 endo? Its definitely not the same but its good - as with the Genisys movie. Likewise the this endo does not even play a particular role in this movie as in the T1 which made it iconic?
Im really surprised to see that the new 1/6 version looks much much better than the 1/4 version....the head sculpt is much better, also more accurate in shape compared to the 1/4 (which looks weird and ugly compared to the 1/6 version imo) , the torso also looks much better.... all the details on the 1/6 version looks much better except for the teeths maybe
I personally enjoyed the movie, so seeing that the figure is the better version compared to the 1/4 scale version is a huge plus for me
The only thing that i prefer on the 1/4 version is the diecast, i wouldve loved to have diecast on the 1/6 version..otherwise the 1/6 version is much much better imo

it's a great piece and I'm a huge fan of the movie and own many hot toys figs.. I have to admit though this looks way to plasticity for my taste and the paint looks good but not great...
