It's funny how Skynet keeps making more futuristic ternimators when the original keeps beating them all out. Which also begs the question....if they are from the future why werent they that futuristic to begin with?
I think cuz we perceive the future to be very advanced (for instance decades ago we thought we’d get flying cars by now) so tech nowadays is underwhelming. No one said robots had to be THAT cool and futuristic. We just assumed so

T1 had the t800 which were common infiltration units. T2 had the t1000 which was considered a unique terminator which John had never encountered before and understood that another machine may be the only change at defeating the novel t1000.
They should’ve made a full terminator movie where a T-800 goes up against another T-800. We seen that a little bit in this movie and we all know who was about to win that.
Suprisingly, he's still there despite that he was never actually created. Think about it, he never was made (he came from the future with Skynet), so how is he there now?

Hey there..! Sorry if I'm late but here it goes my opinion, I believe he's still human (brainwashed of course, but human after all), because of that he has an EGO. Is his EGO what makes him imperfect, it's what makes him take bad decisions and unnecesary risks. That's why he's toying with POPS, becouse he's an arrogant homo sapiens.
That quote is so heart-chilling if you replace the T-800 with a human being, just imagine, being sent back in time only to realize that everyone you know has stopped existing because its not as simple as "they're gone/died now", people you once knew, literally faded away from existence.
From Kyle's perspective that might not be a bad thing. If you come from a timeline that's hell, and can turn it into something better. If they prevent Skynet from coming online they save what? 5, 6 billion lives?
Well the concept was cool and I really did like genysis because they basically threw nothing away and still allowed the potential for John Connor to still be born in the future this time without skynet though.
The idea of the the nanomech T-3000 by itself was a decent one. The idea of John Conner as the villain by itself was a decent one- how many victorious revolutionary leaders throughout history ended up corrupt tyrants as bad or worse that those they rose up against? The idea of John Conner being a Terminator by itself was a decent one- see the original ending of Salvation where John dies and Marcus Wright assumes his identity and face to continue the fight and keep mankind inspired. But somehow Genesys took all three ideas and messed them up by using them together.
@@TheKenji2221 Yes, in the version of the movie that actually came out. However in an earlier script, John would be killed off near the end and Marcus would take his face and pretend to be him, meaning that the Resistance was being lead by a Terminator impersonating John. @Johnfuse Ya no kidding. As soon as it got close you'd be dead almost instantly. I imagine it would be running at full speed a lot more as well rather walking slowly but menacingly down a hallway after you as you run away lol.
Flaws aside, I think some of us can agree that the T-3000 is a very interesting villain because of how advanced he is. Unlike his predecessor, the T-1000, this particular robot is made of nanomachines, making him not only stronger and deadlier, but also harder to destroy.
I still think the t-1000 has the advantage in durability. Unless you freeze it or melt it. The t1000 is all liquid you really cant mechanically break it.
@@danny1884 So a fair bit of his body then. Cause if I remember correctly, when he gets thrown into the liquid metal stuff, he's only a head and torso, maybe the upper left arm too.

It would have been fun to see them both shapeshift fight each other and see what crazy things they could do with it, especially after we saw the T1000 do things like turning it's arm into a spear and cutting it off to throw it at someone.

If that happens Skynet losses but John has to find a way to kill himself so Skynet can never return. He probably just use the plan they used against him in the actual movie and kill himself with the time machine
John's genetic code was re-written as a result of the nano - virus. When the conversion was completed, his memories, skills and experiences remained but his moral code became cold, calculating and twisted.

It felt reminiscent of the T-800 of the first movie when it had literally been blown in half and kept crawling after Sarah in an attempt to kill her.

T1 had the t800 which were common infiltration units. T2 had the t1000 which was considered a unique terminator which John had never encountered before and understood that another machine may be the only change at defeating the novel t1000.

Realistically, if the T-3000 had not played with his food so to speak, Pops would have been no match for him.
2:57 the sound design was really good in this hack movie
The sound effects on this scene when they punch eachother are ridiculous
I really liked Genysis
It took the story in a new direction with lots of possibilities
Said noone ever
The one thing I like about genisys is that they deleted the first movie the terminator
@@anferneelopez6978 why? The first movie is a classic.
T-800 has to be way more creepier then the red eye terminator
Personally this final fight is way better than dark fate. I cant phantom how stupid a young Mexican girl can take down a rev-9. I thought terminators are suppose to be hard to kill.
Well if you saw, it we literally inside that explosion which weaken the Rev 9, and plus I think they are making more terminator movies that takes place after the events of dark fate so except more hard ass terminators to come
It's very climatic and satisfying, it feels earned. Also it kinda reminds me of Han Solo and Chewie in the interior of Starkiller base.
Joe mama And expect more people NOT to watch that PC garbage.
@@kevinphoenix2007 I don't like dark fate but if they make more terminator movies with something better other then yea, the franchise has a 1% possibility of not being dead
@@somebodysomebody4792 After Dark fate I don't think they can afford to make any more terminator movies 😂
the sound effects for this movie was amazing
0:42 that makes the T-3000 scary
3:04 is so damn cool
Some Noob Saibot shit right there
Remember when Terminator was an horror movie ?
I member
Lol yeah - We went from rooting against the death machine to rooting for it in the course of two movies!
T2 is still my favorite.
Last time Terminator was an horror movie in 1984 and that was so long time ago
XD
The music at the very end had me rolling.
T-3000s and T-5000s are my favorites. seemingly they're the most advanced models. such a technology (nanomachines) would evolve rapidly, perhaps even more so than Skynet.
TX beats nano machines.
TX has nano disruptor
@@BunkMayne realistically, people have underestimated this technology greatly. the nanobots could create nano circuitry to beat it; something like a force field/shield. if we can build it, so could they, only faster and better.
@@nobodynoname4739 rev 9 : am I joke to you
@@masdandaniel717 rev 9 is impressive, but T-3000 IMO is still better.
nanobot androids are more pure. if programmed to do so, they could keep on replicating, forming multiple perfect copies,...among many other possibilities.
