    This looks really fantastic! I have a question: When sculpting these, do you only use orthographic view or do you also use perspective? I dont really get when to use which viewing mode to get the sculpt looking like 2d reference

    • @viktor-moor
      @viktor-moor  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thank you 😊
      Actually when you want your 3D to look 2D you have to set your perspective once and stick with it. Orthopedic view I use only when it’s absolutely required or when I want to fake a perspective. When I work on animation or games I never use orthopedic view. But it’s a difficult question to explain via writing. It’s a technical thing you shouldn’t wrap your head around. Just work on your skill set and the rest comes automatically.

    SUCH A COOL SCULPT! I've been meaning to look into the zmodel brush, and it seems like you have an amazing comprehension on the multiple options zmodeler gives you...I had a question about how you always were able to return to the view of the sculpt where you checked with the reference. Did you rotate the model so that the angle of the reference would be the front view in zbrush, or did you already start modeling in the reference's angle? Thank you!

      @viktor-moor  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey thank you. It makes me happy to hear that.
      You can save your view using the animation timeline or use the ZAppLink tool. There you can save your front, side, … views.

    Hey! Amazing videos, I love your sculpts! How do you manage to transfer the sculpts from zbrush to Maya with the paints included? Mine keep disappearing :(

    • @viktor-moor
      @viktor-moor  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hey thanks a lot.
      I use GoZ for transferring my models to Blender. The polypaint is transferred automatically. I’m not sure if it’s working with maya too. But I think it should work. Maybe there is a function in maya you have to activate.

      @@viktor-moor thank you so much for replying! :) I assumed you were using Maya towards the end? Or were you still using Zbrush? If so, I had no idea you could render like that on there lol

      @@jimmyyardley5710 haha thanks 😊
      Yes you can use polypaint for rendering in blender. And I think the same should be possible in maya too.

      Hi, thank you for your interest in my Patreon Sculpting Legend tier.
      It is a dynamic tier where we define together what your state of experience is and what your goals are. It's a tier I accompany your path to become an artist and instruct you in basics and advanced techneques. You get two lessons a week where we connect via discord. I will have a look on your progress and build on top of it.
      I hope this answers your question. If you have any further questions, you can contact me on artstation. There we can have a chat.
