This way is the most simple and easy way. The sram way is such a pain.

Is it correct that there is only one piston in the Sram Rival AXS system that moves out when breaking?

Please try cleaning and lubricating the piston

what’s up man wondering if u can tell me what’s wrong. I had brake rub from putting in new brake pads i took it out for a ride to bed them in the rub still hasn’t gone away. i took out the pads mad sure the pistons were all the way in put the wheel on and no rub but as soon as i press the brake and release there’s rub again

Have the same problem and it seems like you should clean the sides od the pistons. Push them inside, clean sides and push back again. Do it several times and it should be good. If the sides of the pistons are dirty the pull/push mechanism does not work properly

@@kamiln2603 Thanks man when this actually happened last year i did do that too. i brought my bike to the shop and everything and they told me “a little rub isn’t bad” they couldn’t figure it out. out of options i just ordered a new rotor and it stopped. my old rotor was actually slightly bent from using the trainer in the winter. Now i know to either take the rotor off or use a cheap wheel set.

Although SRAM procedures are longer and seem more tedious but they are technically correct as air tends to go to the highest point in the system which is the levers.. makes more sense to bleed from the levers instead of the calipers..
