This is probably the best howto I’ve seen for warp and quantize. While it was a bit long, it was very detailed and easy to understand. Thank you!!

The best tutorial on warping I've seen by a long stretch! It's also nice you not a lo-fi hipster or a trap producer in a baseball cap. Thanks fella.

I got a lot out of this. Great going Nick! Being locked to the grid isn't always preferred, but definitely a must know, and you gave us a great tutorial.

Perfect overview of concepts with practical examples of warping and quantizing as they relate to both audio and MIDI clips. Bookmarked for future reference!

This video helped me a lot. I went in and took notes to use when I am working. It's really hard to record audio exactly on metronome. You can try as best as you can but it never seems to completely work out. Thanks for doing this. I will definitely try it.

Great. But, I am not sure that I saw the "See you later to the cropped samples". How can get the samples back in full after warping. Thanks

Do I really need a "push" to set predetermined loop lengths for audio inputs? I can set it for midi input but not audio. Do I REALLY need a "push" just for that?

Unfortunately it's either a Push or a Launchpad Pro MK3.

Awesome video on warping n quantization. Yay Sweetwater! I have a Focusrite Scarlett audio interface with free Ableton live 11 from Sweetwater. Bro what's the name of the little device you're using to record free time audio samples prior to warping n quantization in Ableton live.

Any way to do live loops? like with a dito guitar pedal for example? Also, logic has a yellow bar for looping audio, is there equivalent in Ableton? I paid a shit ton for Ableton and will be pretty bummed if there is no way to loop audio lol

Hi, i made a beat on one track with only audio clips next to each other and i need to apply my self made groove quantize to these audio clips with out need to consolidate the clips to one audio loop , is there anybwhy tp apply swing quantize to audio clips on the arreng window ?????????

  • @lordflatworm

I don’t understand why clip warp doesn’t have the same transient sensitivity tool that simpler/sampler has. Maybe it does and I’ve never seen it. Would be handy.
